Alabama Senate election: Doug Jones defeats Roy Moore, Fox News projects

694940094001_5678072777001_5678054037001-vsDemocrat Doug Jones has pulled off a major upset in Alabama by defeating Republican Roy Moore in Tuesday’s special election, Fox News has projected, becoming the first Democrat to win election to the Senate from the deeply conservative state in 25 years.

The dramatic Democratic upset in deep red Alabama cuts the GOP’s Senate majority from 52 to 51, further dimming Republican hopes of enacting major legislation backed by President Trump.

But there may be a silver lining for Republicans: A victory by Moore, who is embroiled in a sex scandal, might have made it more difficult for the GOP to retain control of the Senate in next year’s midterm elections.

A Democrat winning the special election for the seat to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions was seen as just a remote possibility several months ago.

I don’t trust or believe the honesty of any election as long as Soros is in the picture.

Big win for Soros and the Communists, another loss for Freedom & Liberty.

Congratulations Alabama! You’ve just occasioned the second major hit to our system of government, in a single year! The precedent that you’ve set, where a candidate can be destroyed, simply by an accusation, even four decades after the supposed crime was claimed to have happened, with the only evidence being a proven, altered document, will be well abused, by both parties, going forward. Particularly in critical situations like this.
Considering this and the first hit, delivered by the incompetent McConnell, who forever destroyed the safeguards with respect to the appointment of Supreme Court Justices, I fear greatly for America’s future!

I wonder how much that win cost Soros. It was revealed before the election that Soros was buying voters again. Looks like this time it worked, much to the dismay of Alabama voters who are well aware of what a Jones ‘win’ means for our state. It’s not a pretty picture.

Noting that McConnell (as he has in the past) spent millions to defeat Moore in the Primary (BEFORE THE QUESTIONABLE ALLEGATIONS) simply because Moore is a conservative and commented that “it would be better to lose a seat to the Democommies than to have Moore in the Senate” I recommend that we applyhis advice to his and his fellow RINOs seats in future years. If we can’t beat them in the primaries we should either NOT VOTE or vote for their opponents. They and the Democommies are really on the Swamps side anyway.

The Republicans have learned, maybe, that you need good candidates if you want to win. You would have thought they would have seen the Democrats mistake with Clinton but now they have felt the bite first hand. Bannon should be give the credit for this lose. Thank you Alabama for not electing crazy just because there is a R next to their name.
