Big business declares war on Tea Party

Ted Cruz - Tea Party
The recent fiscal crisis has opened a major rift between the tea party wing of the Republican Party and business groups that traditionally have backed Republicans, with many business leaders now vowing to get involved more in GOP primaries to try to counter insurgent candidates.

Tea party leaders are defiant, saying they will not change course despite criticism from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Business Roundtable and other top business groups.

But business leaders argue that the scorched-earth tactics used by tea party Republicans during the 16-day shutdown and debate over raising the federal government’s borrowing limit marked the fourth time since the GOP took control of the House in 2011 that tea party adherents precipitated a governmental crisis that zapped consumer and business confidence, raised uncertainty and exerted a major drag on economic growth.

Besides encouraging more business-friendly candidates in primary contests, business groups are rallying behind establishment Republicans such as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Kentucky Republican who is being targeted by tea party activists for brokering a deal to temporarily raise the debt ceiling and reopen the government, while launching a negotiation with Democrats over budget cuts and proposed tax and entitlement reforms.

Business executives agree with many tea party goals such as cutting the deficit and reforming entitlement spending, but they argue that conservative lawmakers have erred in their tactics and wounded the economy by driving the government with increasing frequency into states of crisis and dysfunction — this time for the ultimately unsuccessful cause of trying to force President Obama to cancel his health care law.

I am thinking of starting a new political party:
“The Fed Up” Party, just to add some flavor to things…..

Last time “Big Business” declared war against the folks, they said “let them eat cake”. It all adds up eventually.
All these small incidents, wrong decisions, will eventually result is a catastrophic change. (i.e., French Revolution, Russian Bolshevik revolution, it will happen here in the US), until then tune up the guillotines.

Establishment Republicans and Democrats are lining the pockets of BIG business and NEITHER is looking out for the little guy any more..
    .. .
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Democrats, Establishment Rebulicans and BIG Business are working together to get AMNESTY for ILLEGAL Aliens passed against the wishes of WE the PEOPLE — Democrats and Establishment Republicans for VOTES and the Chamber of Commerce and BIG Business for CHEAP LABOR.

The crazy thing about “Tea party” vs. GOP is that it is like a two headed monster with totally different goals. The Tea Party is fond of holding programs or even the Government hostage to get their demands. The GOP has obstructed the wheels of progress enough on it’s own. The purpose of making the Congress a sample of every State in the Union was for creative Bargaining and compromise in order to better both the Stat and the Federal Government. When any party loses the pulse of the people, puts political agendas to be more important than security or running the Government they fail and the people lose their proper representation. Throwing a wrench into the machine won’t help fix it, but cooperating with the single purpose of making America a safer and more rewarding place to live.

But cooperating with this group of Democrats will get us a lot closer to Socialism/Communism than I care to be…… Obama set out to “Transform America” in his words and unfortunately he is succeding…. Our RIGHTs in this country are being flushed right down the toilet….. and if you do not see it, then you have not been paying attention…

If you think Obama is the problem you’ve missed 100 years of corporate control of our Government! Rails started the Control and Big bank cartels got The Federal reserve Bank Act passed in 1913 Each little bite and planting their lobbies right there so they got all the ear of Congress and pumped money and benefits for services rendered and what do you know ; you have a budding oligarchy. Give them 50 more years and the groundwork for the corporatocracy that we have today. You should fear the dictatorship that is forming day by day.
Obama is little matter to the money mongers. He is just a puppet like our Congress and Supreme Court. There is only one way to fix this mess. It is by revolution. Peaceful would be nice , but I doubt that the greedy monsters will fall peacefully. Talking revolution is patriotic because what the Government and big business are cooking up is the end of our Democracy as we know it. The president has too much power. In order to do these dirty deeds they have centralized our Government, taking away state rights. We the people have let then rule our private lives. Our Congress does it’s legislation on the pork barrel quickie. You are no longer a constituent because they do what money wants . Ask yourself why have American troops died and trillions of dollars spent on foreign soil and concerns and Congress can’t make a budget without cutting Social Security and food stamps.

Big business wants to bailed out and too big to fail so they do not like the Tea Party who is for small government and everyone is equally capable of failing and succeeding. We the people are tired of government catering to big business and shafting the middle class so if you want a war we will give you one!

  • Noah Rosenblum says:

    So
Maybe the Tea Party needs to wake up & be creative.
Pick (1) company in every line of business and avoid doing business with them. (I don’t like the boycott word).
Once you start to hurt them in the “Dollar” they would be a little more respective, and pay attention.

    Cheers

  • James Maxwell says:

What “Big Business” doesn’t seem to comprehend or understand is that
they attack the TEA Party and its members we have the choice to attack
them by not buying their products or going to their stores. We cannot
deal with them on a personal level but we can influence where our money
    goes and who we support.
