Cruz, Kasich camps trade postmortem shots in wake of Trump victory

by
May 8, 2016

Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich have quit the GOP presidential primary race but continue to snipe about who’s to blame for letting front-runner Donald Trump crush them Tuesday in the Indiana primary and end both of their campaigns.

“Post mortem’s on POTUS race must include a healthy dose of Kasich,” Cruz campaign manager Jeff Roe tweeted Friday. “Defeating Trump required a head to head. Kasich kept that from happening.”

The campaigns formed a loose alliance in mid-March as Trump trounced in his home state of New York, then a week later swept in five Northeast primaries.

Cruz, in second place at the time, realized his brand of conservatism wouldn’t play well in that region and entered into a deal that would allow him to compete alone against Trump in Indiana, while allowing Kasich to compete head-to-head with Trump in Oregon and New Mexico.

  • HotFlight

When it comes down to the bottom line, cruz and/or kasich are really not good enough or man enough to shine Donald Trumps shoes or allowed to carry his bags!

  • Nina814

This is ridiculous! A couple of grown men crying out like babies. And they pretend to be Presidential material!!!

  • Cruz was NOT responsible for that Carson fiasco. The ad was put out by a
Super Pac, but not sanctioned by Cruz. Cruz nevertheless put out an apology
when he didn’t have to. Kasich isn’t doing anybody any good.

  • HENRI

HEY GUYS LOL IT DIDN’T WORK DID IT LOL LOL LOL LOL

  • I Seigel

Boy, the EGO of these 2 guys! Throwing the blame on Trump’s success on each other, as if they could have affected the outcome at all. He didn’t win because of these 2 jerks’ weaknesses. He won because the PEOPLE wanted him.

  • paulyz

Cruz in wrong about a 2 man race helping him. Had Kasich dropped out before the NY primary, TRUMP would have won by much bigger percentages in the last 7 State Primaries. Enough about this, let’s just consentrate on defeating Hillary & the Democrat-Socialist Party.

  • ADRoberts

The timing makes it abundantly clear. Kasich, the fake Christian was only in the race to stop Cruz Nothing else could explain why he would quit the day after Cruz suspended his campaign.
Yes, Kasich, the governor who vetoed a bill to protect Christians from legal attacks by homosexuals, was and is controlled by the same ones who are backing Trump.

  • jcadla

Cruz and Kasich are both losers. They should get on board and help out some now. You lost…give it up and go to work.

  • Robert Russell

It makes you wonder how the voters in Ohio gave Kasich governor of Ohio? But again GOP has a clear winner Trump but they don’t want him kinda don’t make sense the speaker Ryan don’t like Trump ether. Just maybe we need a new speaker of the house & dump a lot of rinos including Ryan. After all Trump is liked by the voters & the voters have the last say come November.

    • Wingedgodd3ss

Definitely a new speaker. Ryan is just too inexperienced.

  • Mary Kueffner

Cruz has no one to blame but himself. He is a phony and a user. He tried to use Carley and Kasich but it didn’t go too well for him. Both Carley and Kasich will do just fine on their own, just as have they have done for years. I wish them both well and wish Cruz would consider going back to Canada.

    both

  • robmanwiller

Next will be the hair-pulling cat fight. May I suggest a 3-way mud wrestling contest between Cruz, Kasich and ‘switch-hitter’ Rubio? Cruz was not a problem, but Rubio is a ‘fair weather’ conservative. Kasich is a phony RINO, the worst, like most of the lily-livered GOP leadership, who can never stomach a fight against the pushy and maniacal left-wing douchebags for “We, the people”, which is why we are here today at this juncture.

    • Wingedgodd3ss

Rubio was totally dissed in Florida-I grew up there and all of my family is still there (and friends) and No One Likes Rubio. NO ONE!!!!!!!

  • E.D. Todd

Kasich was nothing more then a blood sucking tic, we all know that .

  • Vietvet1968

Poor losers always have something crappy to say about the guy who beat the shit out of them!

  • jea2comments

People are waking up to these “career politicians” peddling the same old promises and yet delivering NOTHING! That is why Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump were so wildly popular, because they were NOT part of the “Establishment.” Carson ran a good, clean race and people saw that. Trump ran a tough, clean race and self-funded his own campaign. Who else can do that, or has ever done that? Trump has been attacked in every way imaginable and six ways come to Sunday, and yet he emerged the victor. He says what “We the People” are thinking, he tells it like it is, and he doesn’t take any guff! I like how Trump is rough around the edges and I like his tough stance on illegal immigration. I like the idea of “The Wall” and keeping vermin and terrorists OUT of our country! Many of his ideas are good and old-fashioned common-sense. We haven’t seen common-sense in this country for about 8 years now and it’s high time it returns. It’s high time we got someone into office who actually will do something POSITIVE for this country, we need to get our economy going again, and who knows more about how an economy works than Donald Trump. He’s a job creator, and Lord knows we need that in a big way. Currently we have an Unemployment figure of 35-42% in this country! Let that sink in for a moment… Do you really think Hitlery gives a rat’s azz about jobs? She can’t even secure her e-mail let alone get an economy going. And NO she wasn’t there at 3:00 o’clock in the morning, when “the call” came in, for help! IGNORED is what Ambassador Stephens and his crew got and now their dead. And then she has the audacity to run for prez?! She should be in prison wearing and orange jumpsuit right now! along with the Usurper and all his cronies! We need a REAL PREZ, and that’s what we’ll get with Donald Trump!

  • Nancy

Well let’s see Common core, Touch back Amnesty, partial birth abortion, continue funds to PP, Ok for men in women’s bathrooms, doesn’t believe he should have to ask forgiveness from God as he has never done anything wrong . That is your T RUMP. Obviously you are not Christian or conservative in any way

    • Wingedgodd3ss

      Nancy get over yourself-really.

  • Nancy

First of who ever wrote this article has no clue the difference between quitting and Suspending a campaign and there is a huge difference. Cruz will still gain delegates in the remaining primaries and therefore Trump probably won’t get his 1237 which triggers a contested convention and Trump definitely isn’t going to get it on the second ballot

    • Francis

Exactly right, and Ted IS favored to win on the second ballot.

  • kathy diamond

Played dirty ??? That’s what they did and it jumped up and bit them right in the ASS

  • Albert L Biele

I agree with the Marine, with regard to Cruz being a strong constitutionalist, but the Carson incident was certainly a turnoff, and then came the Kasich/Cruz deal that sort of leaned toward collusion. And although I give credit to Kasich for doing a great job in Ohio, his bid in the primaries to gain a nomination, without the support of a majority vote, confirmed his disdain for a people’s choice. The reason I finally supported Trump is because he was the only candidate who had the fortitude and the finances to successfully resist our corrupt system, and truly represent the people’s voice, in a party that has shown nothing but condescension toward the voter who gave them control of the house and senate.

The fact that the party is now resisting Trumps nomination is proof that they have no regard for the will of the people. We the people are in dangerous times today, and must resist tyranny, of our present administration, and from politicians who have implemented doctorial rule over the people. We must stand fast against tyranny at all cost!

    • Jim

I agree with you 100% Albert. I didn’t think Cruz could beat Hillary and her camp said they didn’t fear him or Kaisich, but they fear Trump. I don’t think the climate of the country today is conducive to a die hard conservative. You need someone in between.Trump saw the country is in bad shape and has the resources to make it great again and is doing this on his own. He’s the only one who can save this country now.

      • Albert L Biele

        Well stated.

      • Wingedgodd3ss

And I think Trump will appeal to some democrats where I don’t think Cruz would have… At this point Trump is all we have and we better help support him going forward the best we can….

  • Tammy Dorsey Berthaut

It may be hard for these people to understand but most working Americans want our borders secure and our jobs kept here and filled by Americans. Most are sick of people being given visa’s to come here and take our jobs. Most American’s want to be safe in their own country. That means we don’t want people coming here that may blow us up. People no one knows the background of. People that could have links to ISIS. They call us racist and crazy right wing nuts but the real fact is there is many more of us then brain dead liberals. Now if we can just get all of us together to vote for Trump we might have a chance to fix some of this mess if not get use to having places blown up, high unemployment the UN controlling us and becoming a 3rd world country. Its up to the voters now. Personally I hope they stop and really think before giving Hillary 4 or 8 years to finish destroying us.

    • Rodney Steward

Well the European countries have tried to tell us not to take any of these refugees, but this is Obama’s people, and he wants that caliphate too! And Hellary will be Obama on steroids, she’ll finish us off and put her NWO foundation in place for the UN!

    • Bob Ferretti

It’s nice to see some WOMEN
talking positively about TRUMP as a man who can definitely lead this country out of the ABYSS.

      • Wingedgodd3ss

        I like Trump too!

  • Rodney Steward

Funny how Kasich got out AFTER Cruz did, and still wonder why Soros donated $400,000 to Kasich! Was it to take out Cruz or to hurt the GOP to start with, like the GOP isn’t hurting itself anyway! I still believe this whole thing is rigged to let Hellary get the White house, with her they keep their big Gov. power and then some!

    • Mic

I fear u r correct about Killary . All we can hope is that Comey can’t b bought , justice will prevail , and she will go to prison . She can take her murderous rapist husband with her .

    • Jim

I agree with you Rodney. I’ve always said I think the next president has already been chosen and this is all a dog and pony show to make us think we have a voice, especially when the establishment figures said they choose who runs not the people.

      • Rodney Steward

And I’ll never believe Obama was voted in the second time! I believe the WHOLE system is for the UN, WORLD everything!

  • Gale

love watching those lying, back stabbing scum politicians cry over their ignorance. TRUMP!!! 2016

  • mrg01

it’s over guys. Don’t be sore losers and let a criminal go to the Whitehouse. Hilary Clinton is a criminal. Do better next time.

  • cathylovesyou

As far as I am concerned Kasich and Cruz can get Jeb,Mitt,John M and sit down and lament with some woulda shoulda coulda but please don’t record it don’t let the media in on it as it would be so immature crying ever a bottle of J.D wouldn’t help. Kasich and Cruz ran a good race stop. The others stink.

  • Gail Doyle

This is what happens when politics gets dirty… Using your personality advantage with real sincerity is what gets you the Votes!! Good Luck Mr.Trump…You had my vote the moment you declared..

  • AHP1081

Sad to see the only conservative (Cruz) leave the race. Now we have a criminal (trump) in position to run against another criminal, and close friend, (hillary). It will do the trump followers justice when hillary is the next president.
I am still curious how the many trump supporters could say trump is hated by the establishment when boehner and mcconnell plainly hated Cruz with a passion. It is obvious why they hated Cruz; he is a CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE. It is also obvious why they said little about trump.
So the trump supports have won a position for a self-centered, egotistical deal maker to represent the so called Conservatives. I suggest that; to be a Conservative one must believe in the Constitutional mandates our founders placed in the Constitution. How anyone could suggest that trump supports the Constitution when his history confirms otherwise is beyond delusional. At this point I must conclude; trump supporters care nothing about the Constitution. Therefore, like obama, trump will be allowed to further the destruction of America, by disregarding the rights of the people.

    • kbfallon

The AMERICAN voters put Trump in position to win the whitehouse….all the crying is irrelevant.

      • AHP1081

        kbfallen
Well, he’ll have to do it without my vote and millions of others. In my opinion there isn’t a dimes difference between trump and hillary.

        • Wingedgodd3ss

Then you need to get over yourself and do some reading and soul searching. You will have only yourself and any other sore losers like you to blame if Hillary is crowned pres.

    • Wingedgodd3ss

They didn’t and do not like Trump either. Don’t kid yourself. And many care about the constitution and don’t want some elite group selecting who they get to vote for for pres.

  • Webb

Quote…”Hillary is nuttier than Pelosi and Pelosi is the Gold Standard for Nuts”!
    Actor…James Woods

  • Webb

Let’s move on…Trump is now The Key to the Whitehouse for Republicans and Conservatives.
Cruz and Kasich are OUT, the people spoke, Now Support Trump or end up with Hillary!
The problem now is the Blue States and Democrat and Independent Voters…since their are more Democrat voters registered.
EVERY registered Republican needs to get everyone out to Vote in the General!
☆☆☆Remember The Senate…Remember The Supreme Court Justices…Vote Republican!

  • Kathy Sessler

Cruz and Kasich both were destined for defeat. Their “lies” and “crooked dealings” were their undoings! Then when it came out “WHO” was supporting them monetarily, It was appallingly apparent what their real agenda(s) was!
Cruz and Kasich were for the same as what our current administration is about; ie: unfettered government spending, lack of immigration policies and laws, cattering to the refugees, lack of national security, big bank, big corporations and pharmaceutical bailouts, lack of transparency by big government, allowing the union to run “rough shod” over the Veterans Administration and Congress, etc., etc., etc.!
In my opinion, neither were going to ‘reign in government spending!’
Both were not equipped to handle foreign policies!
There’s so much more they would have done to destroy the GOP. Cruz, especially would have never united the party.
Now the GOP had better start supporting the candidate the People chose! Paul Ryan needs to quit acting like the Democrat he says he isn’t! He, along with all the other Republicans, We the People put in office, (2014), had better start doing their damn jobs! This year, is the year, we begin to “thin the herd”, so to speak. This year we must vote out all the “Career Dinosaur Politicians!”
That’s all I have to say!

    • Harvey Thomas Creech

Please give me some substantiated proof for all of your negative claims about Cruz and Kasich. I’ve never heard any of that stuff and I consider myself very well read and on top of things, politically speaking. These claims sound like Trump supporter bunk and M.O., i.e., put out unsubstantiated claims, rumors, and gossip, and make them out to be fact, hoping that people won’t go to Snopes and Politifactcheck to see if there’s any validity to the claims.

      • Kathy Sessler

Evidently your NOT “as well read” as you claim. These ‘facts’ have come out on a varity of news medias.
“Goldman-Sachs” was/is donating heavily toward Cruz’s campaign. As were other banks and large corporations and big pharmaceutical companies!
His wife “…is currently a sitting member on the board at Goldman-Sachs!”. She, along with him, were FOR NAFTA and TPP amoung other international organizations, which would eliminate thousands upon thousands of jobs nationwide.
Once in, Cruz would have ‘kow-towed’ to the establishment.
His voting record is set in stone. He voted along with almost everyone for our increase of national debt. Look it up! We now, this month, stand at over $21 TRILLION on our National Debt! Our national debt raises, on average, $1.6 TRILLION each year, since Obama took office 7 1/2 years ago! Our “International debt stands at over $320 TRILLION!”
You really need to catch up! I don’t mean this to be rude!
Yet, many of the people of America are not completely informed over whats truely happening!

        • Nancy

Goldman sachs is donating to Trump’s campaign. NEXT? Trump owes Soros $160,000,000 and also owes millions to every Wall Street bank. Trump wants touch back Amnesty, Trump thinks it’s ok for transgender men to use women’s bathrooms. Should I go on?

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Sorry, Ms. Sessler, you are rude, maybe not as rude as the rabid Trump supporters that have replied to my e-mails in recent weeks. The fact that you typed “not’ in all caps followed by “as well read” as I claim, signifies to me that you disdain my claim to being well read. As to Cruz, if he was in, having beaten Trump for the Rep. nomination and beating Hilary in the general election(a very hypothetical situation), would kowtow to the establishment, that would have been one of the biggest turnarounds in modern U.S. political history, since the media told us continually that the Establishment hated Ted Cruz because he called out Boehner, McConnell, and other long-term
Reps. I think you will see a massive flip with Trump, if he’s in the WH over what he promised to do vs. how he deals with Congress, govt. agencies, and even the Supreme Court. And we can mostly blame Obama for the huge rise in our national debt.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

The establishment doesn’t like Trump-or is that a surprise to you?

          • Harvey Thomas Creech

Why are you replying to a post i left specifically for another Trump supporter. I guess you guys have to take turns trashing Cruz supporters. And of course I’ve known since last fall that the establishment doesn’t like Trump. Do you think I’m ignorant? The media, and the fact Trump was already a reality show ‘star’, surely helped Trump’s popularity. Of course, there’s always people who are fascinated with train wrecks.

      • Frank W Brown

Try Google, you’ll find ALL the crap cruz pulled! I hope the truth doesn’t hurt your brain!

        • Nancy

OH no no no. YOU are the one who made the accusations now back it up or STFU

          • Frank W Brown

Really??? I know who needs to STFU and it ain’t me!

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Another personal insult from an obvious diehard Trump supporter. Were you always an insulting person or did you take lessons from the Master of Insults, Mr. Donald (I am the Greatest)Trump. As to Google, I’d rather go to Snopes.com and Politifactcheck who, supposedly, are less biased and more neutral on that kind of stuff.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Wrong! Snopes is owned by a liberal. I concur-you are not well read-better start researching.

          • Harvey Thomas Creech

Look winged dodo bird(certainly not a goddess), quit replying to my posts. You’ve replied up to 10 times(I quit counting at six). Your insults are so lame. Just get the hell off this website.

      • kbfallon

OK then…we’ll send them both participation trophies. Trump kicked their butts fair and square.

        • Nancy

No he didn’t. He spread lies and campaigned like a spoiled teenager who doesn’t get his own way. Oh and it ain’t over till the Fat lady sings and he does not have 1237. OOOPS

          • Francis

Right. It is not over. In order to win the nomination, a candidate MUST reach 1237, otherwise he/she is not the winner. A lot can happen from now until the convention. This presidential election has been unprecedented. Ted has the most delegates, and depending upon how the remaining primaries go and the convention, Ted can reactivate his campaign and become the nominee and win.

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Trump may have “kicked their butts fair and square”, but how do you explain his high negatives with women, Hispanics, and evangelicals. Very important since women make up about 52% of registered voters and the Hispanics helped get Obama elected twice.

      • Wingedgodd3ss

Do some searching-you will be as disappointed as other former Cruz supporters…

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Is there some big source of info for former Cruz supporters? I am defending Cruz because to me he was the only of the 16 other candidates who made sense with his views. I originally supported Dr. Carson, he dropped out and went over to Trump’s camp, then it was between Rubio and Cruz for me, and Rubio dropped out, so that left Cruz and Kasich and I didn’t trust Kasich, so that left Cruz. So I wasn’t a Cruz fan from the very beginning. I’ve never liked Trump. We have a narcissist in the WH now, why would we(the American people)want another one? We have an arrogant President now, why would we want another one. You Trump fans really amaze me!

          • Francis

You’re right on target about Ted. He’s the only one with good sense, the only one who is completely trustworthy, the only true patriot, the only true conservative, the only one who will preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and our rights, etc.

          • Harvey Thomas Creech

Thanks for validating me about Ted Cruz. We Cruz supporters are few and far between online. It’s like we’re in the Alamo in 1836(I think that was the year)and being overrun by Mexican soldiers(that’s ironic since Trump doesn’t like Mexicans who cross the border because so many of them are “killers and rapists and drug dealers”{his words} ) We Cruzers need to stick together.

          • Francis

You’re very welcome! Ted’s supporters really do need to stick together and stay strong. I’m praying for Ted. PS. Have you ever posted at Right Scoop? I post over there. It’s full of Ted’s supporters plus a good number of Ted’s delegates. We’re all standing in solidarity for Ted. Ted is the VERY best!

    • AHP1081

      Kathy Sessler
I realize I am speaking to the choir. Kasich was never a contender, so I delete him. Now, Your first complaint: Their lies and crooked dealings were their un-doings. My question: What lies and crooked dealings did Cruz indulge in? Monetary support; I have looked at and updated financial support and note that the biggest contributor was Conservative organizations. Now I guess you will have to drop trump since many of the Cruz financial supporters have switched to trump.
Now may we look at trumps history? Not only in bed with big business, he is big business! Not only supporter of corrupt politicians but corrupt himself. Trump a deal maker which questions why he would have to go bankrupt four times if he is such a great dealmaker? Your comment: Cruz would not unite the GOP. I suggest that is great. If one holds to the Constitution I care not that they unite with a bunch of criminals.

      • Nancy

yes Kathy Sessler please enumerate the lies and please don’t use Trumps rhetoric when doing so please provide proof
        .

      • Wingedgodd3ss

Yes but the difference is that Trump never claimed otherwise. Cruz said he would not accept big money, that he “rejected” it and then-drumroll-you guessed it he took big money from Goldman sacks etc… THAT is the problem.

      • Wingedgodd3ss

Yes but too-I was happy he shut down the gov but he made few allies in wash-so few he got nothing done-how would that work as pres??? What could he get done? Trump can work with others and will not be beholden to any big bus… They try to blackmail him-he returns funds and tells them to jump.

  • Retired Marine

Kasich is a half bubble off center, just something odd about him. Cruz, I thought was ok until the dirty political tricks started. He was his own worst enemy. I was going to vote for him until all the dirty tricks started, what he did to Dr. Carson was pretty damn lowdown.

    • Wingedgodd3ss

Yeah that time I thought it was a fluke but his behavior continued…that and then I read his immigration stance and now support Trump

      • Nancy

#NEVERTRUMP OH and by the way Cruz proposed building the WALL on the border in 2011 so you are full of bull

        • E.D. Todd

          Thats a Fact ,Nancy .

        • kasper-ghost

So? Once a liar, always a liar. He’s just another good ol boy like Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, etc., etc. He’d say “anything” for a vote. Trump is at least honest.

          • AHP1081

            kasper-ghost
I wonder if all the people and business he fleeced when he went bankrupt would agree with your assessment? I also wonder if Ms. Vera Coking would agree with your interpretation of honest when trump tried to take her land for a parking lot? He lost the case but he did try. I wonder if Ms. Susette Kelo whose home trump did steal under eminent domain agrees with your idea of honest. .And lets not forget Trumps attempt to destroy five small business in Bridgeport so he could build an office complex and entertainment center, probably a casino, . Yes trump is honest, like hell he is! He is a corrupt businessman and will do what ever he needs, to get his way. I won’t even get into his corrupt Scotland venture.

          • Mary Kueffner

Tell me who was fleeced when Trump filed bankruptcy. Tell me if Vera Coking didn’t keep her home (she did) My guess is you voted for Obama. Want to talk honesty now?

          • Dennis

Oh boy, we’ve got libtards weighing in on Trump now! Go back to your “I love honest Hillary” chat room, your making me sick!

          • AHP1081

            Dennis

Several things concerning your attack; First, I ask you to find any posts I have authored which even remotely suggest that I belong to any Hillary chat room. Second, I will conclude you are a trump supporter, because many of them are prone to un-substantiated attacks based on personal prejudices. For the sake of discussion, at least offer substance for you disapproval of my comment. If no intelligent response is offered and since I am truly concerned with your health, my I suggest, in the future, you avoid reading my posts.
You have a good day Dennis.

          • Lilly Putney

He did not take her home. You need to check your facts. He backed out and someone else went after her property. It was not Trump. Do some fact checking before you judge lest you be udged.

          • AHP1081

            Ms. Putney
As most politicians would say; I misspoke about the Kelo case. However, he has stated he agreed with it 100%. Back to the subject at hand. Did trump try to take Ms. Cokings’ House? Yes. he partnered with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority to try and take the property. The agency lost the case in the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Then one might look at his attempt to close down several small businesses in Bridgeport so he could build an office complex and entertainment center. I get the impression you are more concerned with protecting trump than recognizing his crooked past.
            You have a nice day/night

          • AHP1081

            Lilly Putney
Thank you for your response. The last word in your post is misspelled; I believe you meant “judged” I am not concerned with your judgment of me. Trump supporters are famous for ignoring trumps past and passing judgment on those whose opinions contradict theirs. I will rest on my trust in God and the conclusion that you do not hold the power to judge my final path. I see no reason to simply repeat my previous post. Those items mentioned are fact checked.
Much more information is available which would discredit trump. I accept, it is highly unlikely that you would believe anything negative about trump and would justify his transgressions with; ” this person or that person did the same thing”. I suggest that we must hold “this person or that person” responsible and NOT elect another crook who will carry on the status quo of destroying the Constitution and America. If you are interested, look up “Trumps Failed Businesses.” I won’t waste my time presenting that information to you, because I would be wasting my time. I realize you are a strong, and evidential misguided, supporter for trump, but this is America and currently, you are allowed to do that. I fear if trump gets elected you won’t be able to criticize him or his action. He doesn’t take criticism well.

          • E.D. Todd

Amen you so right AHP1081 And it all got to do with his N.Y. mob ties

          • kasper-ghost

Teddy lied about “not” wanting to sign the TPP agreement. Sheesh, I don’t think anyone forced his vote. Teddy lied about Ben Carson dropping out of the Presidential race, long before he did. Teddy lied about being a US citizen when he became a U.S. Senator. Teddy, after having his pockets lined very deeply, states Monsanto is good for you. (X-rays will prove different.) Teddy lied about his “preacher” father’s humble beginnings. And my list continues too!

          • glen thompson

Trump = honest – Are you for real?

          • kasper-ghost

I am not a robot if that’s what your asking. Cruz = liar. All the way from not wanting to sign the TPP, and his “preacher” father’s humble beginnings. Oh, add to that, he was NOT a US citizen before becoming a US Senator.

          • AHP1081

            kasper-ghost
I visited Politifact 5/24/2016 to clarify your assertion that Cruz lied about his support for the TPP. The article dated march 10th 2016 indicates that Cruz was mostly correct in what he said. Here is what they said about the TPP. Cruz initially supported the TPP when it was first discussed. However after the Senate finished making their changes to it Cruz opposed it.
Now to further the TPP discussion, The University of California at Santa Cruz does have a TPP which is the Transfer Preparation Program. I have no idea if Senator Ted CRUZ did agreed with that program. I’m still trying to TOTALLY disprove your claim but it’s late now and I’m tired..

          • E.D. Todd

Ok I will ask you , Just What did TED CRUZ lie about , none of you Trump voters can tell me , Fact is He never did Lie , But trump is so dam good at it .

        • it is 2015 four years later and he hasn’t started it…now let us give Trump his shot on that wall!

          • AHP1081

            Frances Chute Quinn
The same restrictions apply to candidate who suggests building a wall or even a fence on the border. What I personally find interesting is trumps braggart comment; “And I will make Mexico pay for it”! So, a reporter ( something which are few and far between) asked him how he would do that? His reply had be yelling at my TV, but here goes; he replied;” what you don’t think I can make them pay for it”? I can and it will be a beautiful wall, it will be a beautiful wall. So the question still remains; how is he going to get Mexico to pay for the wall? Those who believe trump is the second coming of Christ really don’t care what trump says or does, they just accept he will get it accomplished because he says he will. But,,,,,, I will try and point out the only way he could get them to pay for it would be to place tariffs on American imports from Mexico. I am no economist, but wouldn’t that increase the price of the food, cars, agricultural equipment and so on which we import from Mexico? So, in my opinion, trump is going to get Mexico to pay for the wall by making us pay for the wall! Brilliant!!! And lets not forget he also intends to make China pay for being mean to America. So, trump supporters might want to get all the money they can afford out of the banks because his unannounced plan will lead to a depression much greater than the Great Depression!
I’ll get off my soap box now!

          • Mary Kueffner

I do believe you know absolutely nothing about economics. The rest of what you said is liberal BS!

          • Lilly Putney

So you are saying that all of the food, cars etc that has been stolen from the US should just be allowed to stroll back in without paying when we pay a tariff on every thing that we sell when we can get them to let us sell any thing. We need to have an even shot at being able to make money as well as them making only which we can’t do.

          • AHP1081

            Ms. Putney
I will request you slow down on your display of hatred for those who are against trump, and think for just a second. Ultimately, who will pay the tariff? You probably say Mexico will. However, if trump charges Mexico for sending stuff here, Mexico will just increase the price of the goods they ship here. You may counter with; well we just won’t buy from them. I then counter with: who is going to supply us with food if Mexico doesn’t. Then I also advise that John Deere, Catapillar, Chevrolet and several other corporations have manufacturing centers in Mexico. I would suggest that Mexico sends far more products here than we send there, so a tariff would hurt the American people far more than the other way round. I could be wrong but NAFTA and the highways built to accommodate the agreement would suggest otherwise.
            Have a good day/night

        • Wingedgodd3ss

I don’t think so. Cruz did not change his position on immigration until Trump said he would build the wall. And then Trump made an almost immediate jump in the polls. Prior to that none of the candidates were even discussing immigration. As a matter of my opinion no one was really paying attention to trump until he came out with his views about immigration and his thoughts that we had to build a wall and halt the influx of Muslimsunt we had a vetting process in place. Then he soared in the polls b/c people-conservatives- are sick of politicians not listening to us. Cruz supports the doubling of green cards. I could not find your claim of cruz’s thoughts of the wall in 2011. I did find an interview of his in Dec of 2015 where he supported the wall being built and Trump paying for it….

          • E.D. Todd

KEENE, NH — Campaigning in New Hampshire on Monday, Ted Cruz became the latest Republican presidential candidate to speak openly about a family member’s experience with addiction.

Cruz answered a voter’s question about the drug epidemic by talking about his older half-sister, Miriam, who died from a drug overdose in 2011. But after briefly telling her story — one that he does not often invoke — Cruz said that the only way to fix the country’s drug problems is to secure the border.

“One of the most important elements of dealing with the drug crisis is securing our border,” he said during a meet and greet in Keene, NH. “In Texas we’ve got 1,200 miles of border. The drug cartels come across that border trafficking human beings and illegal immigration but also trafficking drugs.”

Cruz then pointed to the detailed immigration plan on his campaign website, saying his proposals would “impact the drug market dramatically. How about them apples , Wingedgoddss

          • Wingedgodd3ss

That’s great. Since he’s no longer a contender for preshe can support Trump in the quest to build a wall and secure the border. Will he get to keep his senate seat?

          • E.D. Todd

            WRONG < lmao

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Like I said-I never found any explicit comment about building the wall. His doubling of green cards was from an interview.

        • Wingedgodd3ss

And what if he did? What if Cruz did support a wall? What is your real point? The rest of his positions did not resonate with voters-why not support someone whose positions do? Maybe I’m wrong but I think the goal is to remove democrats and get someone into office who will do what is best for our country…

          • AHP1081

            Wingedgodd3ss
Can we at least open our minds and research what trump is truly interested in. May I ask, without being decapitated by the mindless who might read my post to you, what has trump actually done which suggests, to you, that he is interested in the well being of America and you? I offer, trump did not build trump towers to help America or you, he built trump towers as a monument to HIMSELF. Trump does not have his name on everything owns because he wants to identify what is his, he has his name on everything because he wants the world to know how great he believes he is! When you suggest the goal is to get rid of democrats, I am forced to argue; one cannot get rid of democrats by electing a democrat. Please accept that trump has changed party’s some seven times, which to me indicates his political values change with what he needs to accomplish. He has no real values other then those which he believes increase his grandeur. So what are the values you hold dear Wingedgodd3ss? Do you hold the good of the Constitution and America as a value? Do you believe honesty should be a virtue possessed by those who represent you? But the laws delineated in the Constitution cannot continually be overlooked if America is to survive. Trump has spent a lot of his lifetime using people to benefit trump. In short he is a corrupt businessman who, if elected will match obama and maybe surpass him as the most corrupt president ever.

            have a good day

          • Mary Kueffner

Apparently you don’t like Trump. that’s ok, but before shooting off your big mouth, you should get your facts straight.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

I probably agree with you on more points than you think. I have had the full gamut of emotions this election cycle mostly that I’m disappointed that of all of the great people in our country-many unknown that these remaining candidates are the best we have. How sad. I supported Cruz initially but as I saw more of him I liked him less and less. Trump is arrogant. I’m not sure I can find much different between his attitude and Obamas. The one thing I’m hopeful of is that he will feel some loyalty to those who put him in office. Obama has no loyalty to anyone who is an American. Unfortunately Cruz did not resonate though I feel the same about many conservative issues. I do not agree with his stance on immigration though. I think the media would have painted Cruz as a religious zealot just like they did to Santorum. At this point I really think everyone needs to get over their disappointment and get on board. A third party will ensure that Hillary gets in the white house. I would love the Republican Party to totally permanently fracture-and a constitution party with tea party candidates emerge but this isn’t the election cycle to have this happen in my opinion.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

From Cruz news I just received a blurb that Cruz is blaming Rubio for not stopping Trump and not becoming his vp. Rubio claims he never received a formal offer. That is the kind of stuff I find annoying about Cruz… Maybe he isn’t in charge of his news?

          • Lilly Putney

Mr Cruz’s religion is not our religion. His is Dominion Theology. no where to close to what most of us claim as our religion. Like Methodist, Bapatist or Catohlic. At least we know if we want to change churches we won’t be persucuited. His religion is you are with them or you are no good.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

I have never even heard of dominion theology. What kind of church is that? How did you find out? I guess I will try to google cruz’s religion….interesting info. Thx.

          • AHP1081

            Lilly Putney
            been a long time!
Let’s see, we have a muslim in office right now, and you bring up a comment which is far from being Constitutional or American. Quote;” Mr. Cruz’s religion is not our religion”. Yes I realize the Constitution is for the protection of the people and ones right to express and opinion. But, May I site a portion of the 1st Amendment; “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. Several articles, which are written by PEOPLE, which might actually reflect their opinions of Cruz’s religion. I am not a “Bible Thumping” person, but it is refreshing to hear someone who is not afraid to mention God and Country. Although several of our founding fathers were not attuned to God, our Declaration of Independence was written with the belief that a higher authority did exist. Additionally, our Constitution, as mentioned above, supports the right to express our religion. In your opinion one might conclude that you do not accept, the reality that a higher authority exists. Let me also point out that Congress, as best I remember, still starts their sessions with a prayer. Are they overbearing religious fanatics? Would it not be refreshing, to worship as one pleases vs. being attacked for mentioning God in the wrong place? When the Progressive, Obama supporting, New York Times columnist David Brooks describes Cruz campaigning as political “Brutalism” which appeared that Cruz was in a fight with the devil for the soul of the nation. I believe the nation does need to do some soul searching!
I’ll get off my soapbox now
            Have a good day

          • Mary Kueffner

May I turn your question into a question? What has Obama actually done which suggests, to you, that he is interested in the well being of America and you? Additionally, what has Hillary actually done which suggests, to you, that she is interested in the well being of America and you?She is only interested in increasing her and Bill’s fortune by another $100 million dollars and will accomplish this if she wins and runs the White House like she ran the State Department. The Clinton Foundation will still exist and she will collect as much if not more because everyone will want a private meeting with Her Highness or a speech from the”First Gentleman” The two of them made a lot of money from these speeches and exorbitant donations to The Foundation in exchange for favors as they have so blatantly done in the past. So, do you really think they are not as greedy, and Trump is? I had trouble following your logic, all things considered

          • AHP1081

            Mary Kueffner

            Thank you for your response.

I must have missed something! I have scanned my posts in an effort to locate anything I may have written which would lead you to the comment; [” What has obama actually done which suggests, to you, that he is interested in the well being of America and you”? and “Additionally, what has hillary actually done which suggests, to you, that she is interested in the well being of America and you”?] I haven’t been able to locate such a post. Please advise me where you located the post.
For the record I believe obama is a traitor to the Constitution and America, and for the record, I believe hillary is a traitor to the Constitution and America. I admit trump is just a weasel, looking for an opportunity to become a traitor to the Constitution and America. I fear his presidency just as much as obamas’ or hillarys’. Lets face it they are all crooks.
            .

        • Dennis

He was for amnesty in the gang of 8! But he later said he did not support amnesty, Just wanted to “LEGALIZE” all the illegal aliens! Where then did he later get the idea to build a wall? I recently heard him say to the contrary that he would impose all kinds of economical sanctions? Come on Nancy, if you are a Republican, then get off the nevertrump routine and join us to defeat Crooked Hillary!

        • Lilly Putney

Mr Cruz was for amnesty from the git go.

        • AHP1081

          Nancy
Short post and to the point!
Isn’t it sad that many trump supporters have no idea who trump is. I guess I can’t fault them too much since trumps policies are ever-changing.
I used to work on a cattle ranch. What’s my point? Cattle usually follow the cow ahead of them.

      • E.D. Todd

Trumps plain on immigration will not work , lol Sorry , You will see Trump is a Fraud ,It will cost the U.S. tax payer Very Big money ,and then the work force will go to hell , You will see , I’m Right .

        • Trump’s stance will work, it is one of the biggest problems in the country…close the border and send illegals back. It costs more to have them here on the dole than it will cost to deport them. They are criminals and should not be rewarded. Trump will figure it out….

          • Wingedgodd3ss

            I agree-send them back Adam.

          • Francis

Donald Trump is going to bring them back, as in “touch back” amnesty. He has NO intention of permanently terminating illegal immigration.

          • William Earl Ellis

IF HE WILL DO THAT ?

          • SDofAZ

That is a fact and well publicized.

          • Mary Kueffner

            A fact? Really??

          • ADRoberts

Trump has already bragged about so many things. Including how easy it is to deceive Conservative voters.
Time will tell. Just like with Obama. And most of those who supported Obama still refuse to see what devastation he has done to our nation.

          • ADRoberts

Trump has already figured out a lot.
Like how to claim to be PROLIFE and then turn around and give to PP.. And then trick you by claiming he was supporting all the ‘other” good stuff they do. LOL.

I have a story to tell you about such deception.
In Texas, they sold the lottery by claiming that all the money coming in would go to education. And it does —- sort of. ALL the money goes into education. And then, just like a tank FULL of water, all the money that goes in forces an EQUAL amount of water out into the state’s general budget. And the “smart” teachers still believe it. LOL.
And every dollar that Trump gives to PP does the same thing. It all goes to ABORTION, one way or another.

            Trump lies.
He made marriage vows to two women who he divorced. Guess he got BORED. So much for his VOWS.
He brags about seducing married women. And then claims to respect women. Just how much deception can you take without being mortified by the embarrassment of being CONNED.

          • Francis

Ttally agree! Speaking of seducing married women, Trump also sat with Marla Maples for a tv interview where he obsessed about Marla’s baby (Tiffany). He talked about the baby’s legs and kept wondering if her breasts would be like Marla’s when she grew up. WHAT THE HELL kind of a father does that??? It is SO sick!

          • Mary Kueffner

I don’t think Trump’s marriages/divorces are any of your business. Why do you think it is? Are you a member of the vow police?

          • E.D. Todd

It is if hes going to Try to run this Country , He,s a lying Fraud Trump is .

          • Mary Kueffner

            And Hillary Clinton is honest?

          • AHP1081

            Ms. Kueffner
One would expect a president to have some moral values. Yes, I know democrat/progressive Billy boy Clinton didn’t, and apparently you don’t either. For someone to suggest that it is okay to screw anything which is on two legs, and in trumps case that may not apply, I don’t think he cares how many legs the subject has. Where does the public draw the line? Your type of non-concern reflects why this country is going to hell in a hand-basket.

          • AHP1081

            Mary Kueffner
I know you weren’t posting to me, but how can you suggest that a persons, (who is running for the highest office in the World) personal history is of no concern? Am I missing something? Cruz has been the brunt of continual attacks concerning his life and history. Attacks on his religion, his fathers life and the idea that his wife and maybe even he has connection to some investment firm is of prime concern but trumps past is off limits. Trump’s bogus attacks on Cruz’s life are accepted as truth, while the truth about trump is frowned upon. Let’s make a quick comparison; Ms. Cruz high position in an investment firm. Trump association with four failed casinos, and founder of 12 business which he ran into the ground. Look it up yourself. His ties with the mob and the fact that he was a democrat most of his life and close friends with the Clintons is of no consequence. The comments he has made towards women are not limited to the general public he has also mentioned his physical admiration towards his own daughter. There is something wrong with your choice and your misplaced emotions have surfaced. For some reason you do not care WHAT trump has done in his life but Cruz is subject to the wrath of Ms. Kueffner. I don’t understand why women support a person who strongly believes they are only good as a source of his personal sexual gratification. But I guess you would view those who respect women, such as Cruz, are not deserving of your respect.
Have a good day Ms. Kueffner

          • E.D. Todd

            Nuff said

          • Francis

Yep. Trump will figure it all out, and everything will be great and amazing. The birds will be singing, and the sun will be shining. You can be sure things will be better when he lets the illegals BACK IN here. It’s called “touch back” amnesty. Trump has ZERO intention of terminating illegal immigration. The con artist spewed all of the feel good words for his audiences so he could sucker them for votes. It’s mind boggling that people believe this con artist who has no fixed policies whatsoever and who keeps changing his mind two, three, four, or more times in just one day.

          • Mary Kueffner

            BS!

        • Wingedgodd3ss

I respectfully disagree. I think adding a large tax/surcharge on all western union and any other wire transfers from the us to Mexico is a fine way to pay for the walk. What about that plan do you think won’t work??? And is it that you don’t think it will work or you don’t want it to?

          • Lilly Putney

Sounds to me like they may be illegals them selves. Only someone with something to hide would not like to see A person in there who will bow down and let the rhinos who are there tell them what to do. I scares the hell out of them because they can’t control Mr Trump.Look at what fun Paul Ryan is having. He may not be reelected the way his State is now talking about what he did to Trump. Like Mr Trump they all had to sign a pledge. To not honor that pledge now is dishonest and they are all lairs just like Cruz. You don’t take a pledge and then not honor what you signed. They all need to grow up and realize that we are not stupid and we know who we want for President and it is not Romeny and Ryan.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Yes I just read an article that Sarah Palin is calling for Ryan to get “cantored” and she is already talking about Ryan losing his seat not just the speakership. Would serve him right. Very dishonest and stupid thing to do imo.

          • Mary Kueffner

And it id NOT Hillary the phony liberal lying witch

        • jcadla

Please research Trumps plan then tell us which part will not work? Will you allow a stranger into your home and support him or her? Think a little at least.

        • Triple J Jackson

Just stop. You people believe everything the government tells you. I bet you think a toilet seat cost 400$ and takes two people 65 hrs of billed labor to install. Look it’s Trump or Hillary. And I Trust Trump WAY more that the American Hating Hillary.

        • Front Sight

Ah, Ha! Another supporter of “A day without a Mexican!” It worked (guffaw) once. Time to try it again.

        • E.D. Todd

The American Action Forum, a nonpartisan, center-right-leaning think tank, released a study this week breaking down the economic consequences of deporting every unauthorized worker in the US.

The authors of the paper, Ben Gitis and Jacqueline Varas, said that based on an earlier American Action Forum study, the direct costs of dramatically expanding immigration-enforcement agencies and courts to deport roughly 11 million people would already cost the US government an estimated $400 billion to $600 billion.

See photos of some of the recent anti-Trump protests:

But beyond the immediate costs of hiring thousands of immigration agents, lawyers, and support staff to remove millions of people from their homes, Gitis and Varas found that the economic effects of suddenly removing millions of workers from the labor force would be enormous.

Gitis and Varas started by estimating the size of the unauthorized workforce. Using 2012 data on that group from the Pew Research Center and workforce data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, they found that, across different industries, about 6.8 million workers without documentation were employed.

          • kbfallon

The key word you used is……” were ” employed ! They need to let the border patrol follow the laws on the books and make it illegal to employ them—cut off aid for them here and they will start back on their own–if they don’t ==face the consequences.

          • Lilly Putney

Most likely that many legal citizens are also out of work. When their unemployment runs out they are dropped from the rolls like they found work or just don’t exisit

          • AHP1081

            E.D. Todd
Great accumulation of information. However, I kind of wonder how much those who are on welfare are costing the taxpayers? How much do the children of those illegal aliens cost our school system and ultimately the taxpayers? How much, and this is a big one, do these illegals cost the taxpayers for their medical services? Then I am curious how much it costs to print most government pamphlets and street signs in, a minimum, of two languages? Then, lets talk about our own leeches who make a living, living off welfare, which is based on the number of children they are capable of producing. Does anyone see a problem with that? I am not a fan of FDR, but he, at least, required people to work on the WPA or CCC to receive money. Why not require, able bodied welfare recipients work, on WPA style projects in exchange for their payments? I’m curious how that would effect the need for illegal aliens. Our founding fathers, especially Benjamin Franklin, most likely has turned over in his grave numerous times. He believed that people should be uncomfortable in their receipt of welfare.
On another note; which sounds worse, a law requiring that welfare people be fixed after their second child or a law which allows the murder of unwanted babies?
I’ll get off my soap box now!
            You have a great day

        • Francis

That NY Times video needs to be leaked NOW, but it won’t. That’s the one where Trump went soft on immigration. Trump is covering up not only that, but also his tax returns. Yes, Trump is a FLAMING fraud and con artist. More voters need to wake the hell up and see who Trump REALLY is.

          • E.D. Todd

Yes Francis your so right , Trump is is a FLAMING fraud and con artist. I have all the fact,s to prove it , But you will only hear the truth when its to late , He has flip flop 20 times all ready ,We know facts on him to bad they are to stupid to see what he really is .

          • Mary Kueffner

Look who is calling the kettle black,E.D.

          • Francis

I hope Trump’s dirty tricks and vicious antics will backfire and haunt him. Prayers for Ted. I hope Ted will come through and win this!

          • Lilly Putney

He is my Senator and when I tell you the he nor Trump was supposed to win. They put their cards on Cruz hoping he could beat Trump then they was going to do the same thing to him that they are trying to do to Trump. No one in the Senate likes him and would do what ever it took to unseat from from the Presidency

        • Mary Kueffner

My, My, aren’t you full of yourself.

        • kbfallon

          Hillary sticker for you!

        • Elizabeth Valentino

E.D. TODD, WHY DO YOU THINK TRUMP IS A FRAUD? HOW LONG HAVE YOU FOLLOWED TRUMP? NOT VERY LONG I WOULD SAY BECAUSE YOU DON’T SEEM TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM! HE IS MORE HONEST THAN ANYONE RUNNING FOR THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND. I’VE FOLLOWED TRUMP FOR OVER 30 YEARS, HOW ABOUT YOU? I THINK IN TODAY’S TIME HE IS WHAT WE NEED TO SAVE THIS UNITED STATES. I’M FEARFUL THAT TRAGEDY IS GOING TO END US ALL BEFORE IT’S ALL OVER. WOULD YOU PREFER HILLARY AND HER CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR? OR BERNIE SANDERS THEN YOU WOULD HAVE TO SPLIT/SHARE YOUR WEALTH? IF YOU HAVE 1$, YOU GET TO KEEP $.50 CENTS OF IT. WHY DON’T YOU DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU SLAM TRUMP? JUST A THOUGHT!

          • E.D. Todd

Don The Duck Trump HONEST,your kidding me right ?Do I know Trump sorry to say yes I do , So lets just see how Honest he is ,Hes a Fraud Why ,5,000 Men & Women Trump commented Fraud on by having a fraud school ,That,s #1-number #2 His Tax returns , not to be seen , WHY ? you ask , Well It will show that He is in with The N.Y. Mob , ,With Judge Jeanine Pirro The fact is that Trump was a client of her mob-associated then-husband, Albert Pirro. New York Magazine described him in 1999 as “Westchester’s most influential real-estate lawyer, a man Donald Trump keeps on retainer—for when he wants to develop an island off New Rochelle or build a $100 million golf-course community in Briarcliff Manor—a man whom Republicans like Governor George Pataki count on to feather their campaign nests with his clients’ money, and a man who was recently indicted on 66 counts of federal tax fraud. The Feds say Pirro hid $1 million in income between 1988 and 1997, claiming dozens of personal luxuries as business expenses, from his $123,000 Ferrari to his wife’s Mercedes-Benz.#3 The Money he raised for the Vet,s he put in his pocket the Vet,s never got it,#4 His dealings with Bill Clinton and under age girls #5 Lie,s all about Ted Cruz and National Enquirer,#6 Hes a Draft Dodger and a Tax Dodger ,Now I have to say I have one hell of a lot more on this Fraud , but not room to put it all in here , So Do I know Trump yes I do its why I will not Vote for a lying Fraud , Maybe I can Ask you your so smart , Just WHAT DID TED CRUZ LIE ABOUT no one can seem to TELL ME .

          • Elizabeth Valentino

E.D.TODD, THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT, IT WAS VERY ENLIGHTENING.

    • Harvey Thomas Creech

It was never substantiated that Cruz directly or indirectly said that Dr. Carson had quit the race during the Iowa primary. And since you used the word ‘tricks’, implying that Cruz was guilty of more than one ‘trick’, please tell me all of the ‘tricks’ you think he was guilty of. And do you give Trump a pass for the Heidi Cruz photo, the constant “Ted Cruz is not eligible to run for POTUS” rhetoric, and the worst of all – the implication that Ted’s father was involved in JFK’ s assassination because he(allegedly)was friends with Lee Harvey Oswald. If nothing else, that claim, to me, disqualifies Mr. Trump to run for President, much less be elected as our next Commander-in-Chief. It’s a sad day that our choices for President have come down to Trump and Clinton.

      • Retired Marine

See there you go. It was Cruz who started the wife dispute by posting a 12 year old picture of Trumps wife, who was a model by the way. Trump struck back. As to the Carson thing, once it can be believed to be a mistake, twice it is a plan and a dirty trick. But you have the right to vote however you want, I will vote for Trump because I am tired of the same old BS.

        • Mic

Well said Marine . Those who quit voting because we lost our faith ( if we ever had any ) in the broken political system we have , will b voting this election . Go Trump !

        • kbfallon

I agree completely with your take on this…and at the same time–who cares what Turd Cruz or Kashit have to say about who’s fault….truth is most people saw right thru their games and insider maneuvers???

          • Nancy

            Trumptard

          • kbfallon

You can still vote for Turd Crud if you find his name on anything other than an application at the Un-Employed politician co. Read it and WEEP!

          • WARGI

I will bet that you still believe that Professor Marvel / The Wizard / Doorman / Cabbie / Guard / Doctor are all different people in the Wizzard of Oz, too. But then maybe you are the Blond that all the other Blonds got a bad name from.

          • Mary Kueffner

Wow, Nancy, you have as much class as Cruz and Clinton… which is NONE!

        • Nancy

No he did not. CRUZ had nothing to do with that posting so perhaps you should get it straight. I love how Trumpsters lie as much as their KING TUT

          • georgi

Better get your facts right because that posting was put out by the Bush’s super pac entity that both Rubio and Cruz were being supported by and Cruz’s downfall is his own fault for taking on Carly Fiorina an Islamist supporter that said the greatest empire in the world was the Ottoman Empire and she was completely wrong on that as it is documented that the Greatest Emipire in the World was the Empire of Nebachadnezzer which was the Mesopotamian Empire. Also Cruz was not ever a natural born citizen that is required by the 2nd article of the Constitution.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

She totally is an Islamist supporter. What a stupid choice.

          • Mary Kueffner

Georgi, go take a nap; your brain sounds tired.

          • Retired Marine

Believe what you will, it won’t make it a fact. Lying Ted has his groupies who will do as he does, you are proof.

          • Mary Kueffner

Do you also love how Hillary lies?

        • E.D. Todd

Not true go do your home work .

          • Retired Marine

I did, that is why I posted what I did. Follow your own advice.

          • E.D. Todd

Then go learn to read .Trumps old lady is a porn star , lots of men seen her nude and in sex acts ,Go look her up on U tube , lol

          • Retired Marine

          • Retired Marine

            Bullshit.

How many of these porn films did you see, E.D.?

          • E.D. Todd

I don’t look at porn but my Bro in law like,s them , he said Two , They were with women , Just look it up .

          • Mary Kueffner

Don’t have to look it up. I’ll just ask your brother-in-law. Is he a bleeding heart liberal too?

      • Kathy Sessler

Sorry to inform you, Carson’s wife heard her husband had dropped out of the Iowa race from the Cruz camp. While she was at a voting station. She immediately contacted her husband!

        • Nancy

CNN STARTED the damn story with a news release to begin with Cruz did nothing. One of his staffers without confirming it retweeted the CNN story. Good god.

          • Robert Russell

Are you going to vote for Trump or Hillary?? I will vote for Trump. Cruz will vote for Trump.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Yes that is true/but maybe I missed the apology???

      • Rodney Steward

As long as Obama’s gone and Hellary dies of health problems, we’re alright!

        • Mic

Health problems , prison or retaliation from all her victims . Let’s drop her in Tripoli , Libya or Aleppo , Syria in a bikini ( would not want to see that ) and let those she has condemned , do what they do their worst .

          • Rodney Steward

            BIKINI !!!!!!! :-((((( We lose again! 🙂

          • Mary Kueffner

            LOL

        • Jim

You’re not too far off Rodney. Hellary is not a well woman,She has three blood clot,.two in her legs and one in her head. She’s been taking comadin for them since 1998 and Dr,.Drew recently said the pressure of the job could kill her in office. Her recent coughing fits are a result of the comadin she’s taking.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Then slime ball slick Willie could be pres again-God help us.

          • Jim

Well actually her V P would step in as Pres.which could be Elizabeth Warren or Biden or even Sanders at this point.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Yeah but couldn’t you just see Clinton having the VP conveniently occupied elsewhere just so that bill could help out ….

          • Mary Kueffner

I just want Hillary to go to prison.

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Amen, brother! However, I may be voting for a 3rd party candidate. And please Trump supporters don’t “write in” that I’m some kind of traitor.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

But you are-third party candidates never win and only take votes away from the candidate who should get those votes.

      • georgi

Ted Cruz was not eligible to be president because 1st of all he was born in Canada, and 2nd both his parents were not Citizens of the United States as mandated in the 2nd article of the Constitution, He was not a natural born citizen of the United States. and Mr,. Neo Con Cruz said, he was for the Israeli’s which was a blantant lie as he voted for the Iran Deal, he voted for the Trans Pacific Agreement which is another type of Nafta, that would mean increases for the Southern Hemisphere of the World and not Americans or its jobs., Also he was in the pocket of the Bush’s Superpac that says that Islam is a peaceful religion, which if you read their Quran is a slaughtering,Pedephiliac. Enslaving Dictatorship and takes over every country that it invades.

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

More typical crap from a Trump supporter(tell me you’re not). Cruz’s mother is/was a citizen of the U.S.(that has been proven). Can you show me a copy of the Congressional Record that shows that Cruz voted for the TPA and the Iran deal? And I don’t what you are talking about with the Bush Superpac that says Islam is a peaceful religion. It’s Obama and his cronies that are saying that and he won’t even say the words “radical Islamic terrorists”. Cruz would have called those thugs out for what they are. Trump is bad enough with the lies, insults, and bashing of his fellow candidates and the media. Why do his supporters have to be the same way.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Why did Cruz seal his documents?

          • Harvey Thomas Creech

What documents? You Trumpsters can come up with more junk. What is the source of all this anti-Cruz stuff – the sci-fi magazines? Hey, he’s out of the race now, so give him a break.

          • Francis

Ted “suspended” his campaign, but depending upon the results of the remaining primaries and the convention, he can reactivate his campaign and still be nominated and win. I think his silence right now in the interim speaks volumes, and there’s undoubtedly much going on behind the scenes. I know his crew still is intact and working. Ted also has the most delegates. Meanwhile, Trump continues to run his foul mouth and alienate voters. Trump also flounders and keeps changing his “so-called” policies, sometimes twice, three, four times in just one day, which shows he obviously doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. Trump will slowly implode. This entire presidential campaign has been unprecedented. We still have until July for the convention, and a lot can happen. I agree about the Trump supporters and their junk. I’ve heard some real doozies myself.

          • Harvey Thomas Creech

Francis, what is/are the source(s) for your conjectures that Cruz could reactivate his campaign and be nominated for Pres. at the RNC. Is Cruz’s name on the ballot at the remaining primaries, inc. California? Don’t you think that Trump’s people will do everything they can to get Cruz’s name off those ballots, claiming that his name should’nt be on them because he ‘suspended’ his campaign. As we found out earlier, Repub. state rules differ widely(see CO.) and there’s no guarantee that Cruz’s name can remain on all of the state ballots. I hope you’re right and that it’s not just wishful thinking. I hate Trump and I think, despite Cruz’s antagonism w. Repub. establishment types, he is the best candidate since George W. Bush.

          • Francis

Harvey, Please refer to the article below. It says that a candidate may reactivate his campaign. You should come over to Right Scoop to read and/or post comments. I post over there. We have rock solid diehard Ted Cruz supporters on there plus many of Ted’s delegates. They are very knowledgeable. There are so many of Ted’s supporters who think the “suspension” was a part of Ted’s strategy. Yes, I’m very sure that Ted’s name still is on the ballots for the remaining primaries. Ted’s supporters are sticking with him, and they will give Ted their votes. Let Trump and his people rant and rave and carry on with their wild tirades. Trump and his people will continue to act crazy and spew drivel and lies, and they will drive people away from them. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Ted once said Trump would implode. PS. I hope the link for the article works. If it doesn’t, just search under the title, and that should bring it up.

Thanks for the info about Right Scoop. I shall check it out. Btw, the link for the article that you posted didn’t work. Would Right Scoop have a digital copy of it?

          • Francis

You’re very welcome. I think you’ll love Right Scoop. I’m sorry the link for the article didn’t work. Just do the search below, and it will come right up for you.

      • Wingedgodd3ss

Ok -I was a Cruz supporter and voted for him in the ga primary-his clock was cleaned by Trump but I voted what I felt was a religious conviction. Now I know that although Trump might be prochoice he hates the idea of abortion. Good enough for me-I think he will listen to pro choice constituents and I think he will appoint conservative judges. Cruz acted like a jerk. I too defended the whole Carson is out of the race thing but his behavior was consistent. He is petty and petulant. Maybe I wrongly expected more from Cruz but he disappointed. At one of the debates-Carson did not hear his name called-then they called Cruz and he walked out-then they called Trump and he gracefully allowed Carson to walk out b/c he didn’t hear his cue-that is class-not paying attention to the vp candidate you chose falling off of the stage? Just another self centered action by Cruz…

      • Lilly Putney

He not only told them Dr Carson had quit he also sent out legal looking ballot forms stating that they was delinquent and should fill out the form and vote for Mr Cruz which according to the Iowa elections board said was illegal.

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Your source(s) please. I’ve heard from several people that Cruz did this and Cruz did that without citing legitimate sources. I’m not believing anything about anybody(including Cruz fans with bad stuff about Trump)until the posters cite some legit and worthy sources, sources that most people have heard of (exceptions – The National Enquirer and other ‘newspapers’ at supermarket checkouts)

      • Lilly Putney

He put out fake voting forms which the Stateof IOwa said was illegal and yes he did tell people the Mr Carson had left the campaign when in truth he went home to get some clean clothes. If he didn’t say it then why did he apoligize after the voting was all over with>

        • Harvey Thomas Creech

Are you from Iowa or a nearby state? If not, how do you know such intimate details about the Iowa primary? Are you willing to post a copy of the so-called fake voting form for me and other Cruz supporters to see. If not, shut up. Cruz has suspended his campaign. I’m sure that makes you happy.

    • AHP1081

      Retired Marine

If you really are a Retired Marine, “Thank you for your service”!

Since you stated TRICKS, meaning more then one, please name a few tricks Cruz played. I am a Cruz supporter and am curious why people fell for the I,I,I and Me, Me, Me personality of trump when Cruz was the only Constitutional Conservative in the bunch. I must conclude that far to many who allegedly want the Constitution to rule, really don’t. The people who identify as Conservatives and support trump cannot actually be Conservative.
Trump continually speaks and spoke in vague terms and offered no plan to accomplish his vague promises of grandeur. It appears the “bold colors” which Reagan spoke of and implemented are no longer important and many are more acceptant of ones’ own mental interpretations of comments offered as solutions to todays problems. Example; When trump stated that he would make Mexico pay for the wall, no one forced him to identify how he would do it. My conjecture would be tariffs and then I would direct the public to read the “Smoot Holley Act” which led to the Great Depression.
And let us not forget that trump supports the “touch back amnesty program”.

      • WARGI

First your remarks to the Retired Marine. “if” is as insulting as they come. I am 72 and a retired Army officer and if Mr Retired Marine doesn’t come over and shove that remark down you stink’n pie hole, I will gladly do it for him. What ever you do, don’t thank me for my service. Because, coming from you it is just like your lying Ted, political BS.
Next you seem to have the I and me statements miss assigned, Cruz is the all I personality, and Trump is the We person, that is another reason both Mr Retired Marine and I support Trump.
Mr Trump’s touch back amnesty is designed a lot like our military blanket party system. With a little physical assistance you go to the back of the line, and earn your way back into to team.
Your wanting everything in fully detailed plans is absurd, and even if it was presented as such you would have no idea how it went together. Doing such a thing at this point is only giving the Democrats more ammunition to try and pick it apart, to use as distraction during the election.

        • AHP1081

          WarGi
If you are a Government Issue (GI) thank you for your service. Also I thank you for you attempt to belittle me and my comments. You are a perfect example of a trump supporter.

          • WARGI

You like many other’s can’t seem to read with out trying to add something between the lines, my name is WARGI. not War GI.
I don’t hide behind a false identity like you.
So from my time as a Warrant office and not from the time as a commissioned officer, (where I must use tact) F’ you, you thanks is not accepted.

          • Triple J Jackson

And you are a perfect Hillary supporter. If you are even old enough to vote. If you are even a legal American If your not a felon. If you can get to the voter polls if you have a car or a ride there if you have a valid State ID if you are registered to vote. Oh but that’s right Hillary doesn’t care IF you are .. As long as it’s for her.

          • Lilly Putney

And you sir are the full example of a complete fool and a jackass to boot.

          • AHP1081

            Lilly Putney
Thank you for you response to my post. I accept that you believe I am a complete fool and a jackass to boot. You actually have a right to form your own opinion, and I promise I won’t threaten to kick you as* or beat the hell out of you. I will offer the same assessment that I presented to Wargi upon his rant attacking virtually everything about me. You are a perfect example of a trump supporter. I conclude that you believe If I do not agree with your opinions, I must be silenced. I am a strong supporter of the Constitution and I believe the first Amendment is still on the books. I heard the 1st amendment gives me the opportunity to speak and I haven’t been banned by this site yet. So, I will continue to voice my opinion and you can continue to attack my posts. Or to keep you blood pressure down why not just ignore my posts?
You have a good day Ms. Putney

      • georgi

I think that there is not one person that got into their office had one lick of experience when they were voted into office for anything and I also believe that Trump has more knowledge about our policies than he is given credit for. I don’t care about his I i i or me me me speeches because that is just his personality, but that doesn’t make him stupid. He has a military background growing up in a military school, graduated from Wharton Univ. of Pa. with a Bach. degree in economics and by the way this is the same kind of degree that the other presidential conservatives have, The depression was because of politicians being do gooders to too many outside influences instead of consentrating on American citizens.

        • AHP1081

          georgi
I will not argue with the credentials you outline. However, being a graduate of a military school is far different then being a veteran. Having a military background usually involves much personal and family hardships, which, my best guess, would preclude trumps’ military experience. Trumps political savvy; It is great to know the ends and outs of political progress or digress, but for a president to use that knowledge for personal gain is repulsive. Yes, I am aware that most all politicians leave D.C. far richer then when the entered, but is that truly what we want?
My concern for trumps’ I, I, I, and Me, Me, Me is offered to impress that trumps’ self centered and egotistical opinion is not conducive to a Constitutional Government. Trump has demonstrated that he has little regard for the Constitution, and I stress that without a return to the Constitution we will never return to freedom. As far as a degree in economics; One can attempt to manipulate the economy because they have a degree, but common sense and history indicates that one does not live above their means and stay sovereign . Lets be honest here, trump has declared bankruptcy four time. Is that the mark of an honest person? I think his degree and lack of honesty has let him down. America cannot file for bankruptcy and remain sovereign. Giving money away did not necessarily cause the depression, but giving away money we did not have most certainly contributed to it.
georgi, we both know trump is a crook and a poor choice for president. With Cruz out of the picture now, we have no choice.

          • William Earl Ellis

            YOU ARE RIGHT .

          • AHP1081

            William Earl Ellis
Thank You and you and the Misses have a nice day.

          • Lilly Putney

You have got to be kidding. How much war experience did our so called president have? How much does Clinton have? At least Mr Trump will fight for the constitution. 1st an 2nd amendants. With Clinton she will push for gun rights that we can’t even own a gun. Is that what you really want?

          • AHP1081

            Ms. Putney
How much war experience does our so called president have?. How about NONE. Clinton possess the same NONE. However, Clinton will implement executive orders to nullify the 1st. amendment, as you are attempting to do with me, and she will also try to nullify the 2nd Amendment. And those who have not called their Senators demanding that they not confirm obama SCOTUS nominee will contribute to that nullification. As I have stated in numerous posts, what I want is to return to a Constitutional Government. Now when you suggest that trump has war experience because he attended a military school, I have to challenge that assumption. Ask any person who has been to war what they endured and then place trump in his parents penthouse in proper prospective.
I also challenge your assertion that trump will fight for the Constitution. I base my remark on the fact that he has ignored the 5th amendment and tried to take property from private people through the use of eminent domain in CRDA v. Banin and Kilo v. New London. In 1994 he lobbied the city of Bridgeport to condemn five small business so he could build an office and entertainment complex. He is no stranger to violating the intent of the fifth amendment. That is also part of the me,me,me and the I,I,I which I disagree with. He has, in the past, been vague on his support for the 2nd amendment. And the list goes on and on.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

Why does claiming bankruptcy preclude someone from being honest? Are you implying that he wasn’t really broke?

          • AHP1081

            Wingedgodd3ss
If it were one bankruptcy I would not pass personal judgment. But it’s four bankruptcies. There used to be a saying; “fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.” Yes I realize I was not directly injured by his bankruptcies. But just how honest is a person who promises to pay a debt and then reneges on that promise. America already has a president who is irresponsible and has put America 17 TRILLION dollars in debt. We do not need another irresponsible person put in power.

          • Francis

Great comments, and I agree. Please scroll up and see my response to Harvey Thomas Creech re Ted Cruz. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Ted in this election by any means.

            LOOK WHAT WE GOT.

      • E.D. Todd

Yes Id like to know too , Ted Cruz was and is the only one Man that played by the Rules , NOT Trump its a fact Trump is a lying ass fraud , I can hold my head high For Who I voted for , And That was Ted Cruz . A True Constitutional Conservative .

        • Robert Russell

You Cruzbotts lost get over it.

        • cruz was fraudulent in so many states, carson in iowa, rigged machines in texas, fraud reports in almost every caucus state, collusion with Kasich, double voting with cruz campaign busing them in. anti trump literature distributed at the iowa polls, (illegal) and in just about every state when machine was rigged the vote turned to cruz. luckily the trump people got on top of the voter fraud and trump all of a sudden wins the last six states handily with real numbers as expected. but the biggest fraud of all is cruz even being on the ballot, he is not nor ever will be a natural born citizen.

          • E.D. Todd

your so full of shit .

        • Wolfman

I know Mr. Cruz claimed to be a ‘True Constitutional Conservative’ as does Mark Levin. However, neither of them have adequately explained how Mr. Cruz fits the definition of a ” natural born citizen”, as required by the Constitution, in order to run for President or Vice-President. A ” citizen” is allowed to be a Senator or Representative. The Founding Fathers used the ‘Law of Nations’ as their guide during the development of the Constitution. In the ‘Law of Nations’, the difference is significant in that , both parents had to be citizens at birth AND they had to be born in their Country of origin or while on official Government assignment outside the Country of origin ( ala John McCain). To the best of historical knowledge: Chester Arthur is presumed to have lied about his parentage and destroyed all records; Barack Obama did not qualify ( and should not have been certified by Nancy Pelosi or the House of Reprhensibles…an act of Treason by all of them… for which they should be tried and punished !!!) if for no other reason, …that he even admits in his own biography that only one of his parents was a US citizen.
Considering that Mr. Cruz was born in Canada ( which by Canadian Law made him a Canadian citizen ); His mother was in Canada on business…not official assignment; He has never filed an N-600 Citizenship Certification App.. he in no way fits the Founding Fathers Constitutionally intended definition of a ‘natural born citizen’…and he knows it!!!
Marco Rubio is also ineligible to be either President or Vice-Pres. because neither of his parents were citizens at birth.
This is my main problem with Cruz…he is critical of Obama’s and everyone else’s “loose” interpretations of the Constitution…but is loosey-goosey in his self serving interpretation of ‘ natural born citizen’.

Oboma said he came to the USA as an exchange student???? If he was American as he claims HE COLD NOT HAVE CAME AS AN EXCHANGE STUDENT. THAT WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. CHECK OUT THE EXCHANGE STUDENT RULES.

I agree that many in Congress should be tried and convicted and it would do my heart good to see them run out of town on a rail.

        • Lilly Putney

A true establishment candidate. The only jobs he held had to do with the Government. Not an outsider but establishment.

          • AHP1081

            Ms. Putney
If Cruz was/is an establishment candidate why was he hated by McConnell, Boehner and McCain? If he was an establishment candidate why did he filibuster the Senate? Why did he vote against the establishment?

When you used the term “if you really are a Marine” you insulted everyone what has worn the uniform of the US Military. I find your remak insulting to me and every other military retiree.

        • Lilly Putney

That is insulting even to the famlies of fallen soldiers and well.

          • rockcut

Yes, his comments are insulting and deploreabe

I’m not so gullible to believe that everyone who says they are a veteran are in fact a veteran. I honor those who have served and reject those who try to gain respect by claiming they are veterans. I do not apologize for being cautious and I do not taking comments at face value. I know enough about the military to pretend that I am vet, however I do not because I have done nothing which remotely meets the hardships which those who fought for this country endured. I respect your service but I do not kowtow because I am cautious. You can take my thank you for your service or you can fly off the handle and insult and threaten me. I assure you I will continue to be cautious regardless of what a person may say he or she has done in their lives.

          • rockcut

it is rare for someone to claim to be a veteran when they are not. That is the first point you should consider. The second point is that in your cautiousness you should find substance to claim the person is not a veteran. I hope these points help you not to be so quick to use the term If you were a veteran……

      • Lilly Putney

Cruz is my Senator he is a first term just like Oboma was. The only jobs he has ever held is with the Gov. If he had not done what he did to Dr Carson then this would never have started and he would probably still be in the race. I am sorry but you don’t lie to one persons voters and tell them he quit the race and went home so they should vote for Cruz!!!! How bad a lie doe he have to do especially when he tried the same thing on the next time they was voting and got caught.. How do you think all of the delegates he tried ti steal feel now that he is no longer in the race. He should have tried to do a decent campaign against Trump instead of trying to build up delegates for the second vote around in Ohio. Sorry it didn’t work.

And you believe the lying bullshit Trump puts out you were never a cruz person. Get over yourself. He didn’t do shit to Carson if you had been paying attention it was CNN that got that started with a news leak. Try to catch up

      • Robert Russell

Are you in the Tea Party by any chance??

      • Wingedgodd3ss

Hold on-Carson has a responsibility for this-he left to go home and regroup before votes were tallied and then did not respond immediately to the reports that he was quitting. But Cruz didn’t stop there-he attacked Trumps wife and then played the victim card when Trump responded….

    • E.D. Todd

Cruz did not do the Carson trick, CNN did and Rubio did, his camp put out the rumor on Carson , And his camp was telling Carson voters he dropped out , Don’t you remember how many votes Rubio got that day ? You need to get your fact,s straight,Cruz had nothing to do with it but he was man enough to tell Ben he was sorry , Did CNN Or RUBIO , NO >

    • i am with you on this…originally i liked cruz but then switched to trump and cruz proved me right. he was his own worst enemy …had he stayed true to himself he would at least be vp if he can prove he is a natural born citizen. that is king of where he began to lose me….sealing his documents!

    • ADRoberts

You are so easy to deceive. So what proof do you have that Cruz was the one who put out that Carson was dropping out? NONE. But that does not stop you.
      You seem to be a lot lacking in critical thinking about what is called DISINFORMTION;
Yes, you are easy top deceive. And you will figure out just how badly you were deceived about April 30, 2017 when Trump has had a chance to show his REAL liberal self.

Trump didn’t have to work with anyone and he won!! Old song by the kinks “give the people what they want!”

      • AHP1081

        ajareins

“give the people what they want”? Not very well thought out. Hypothetical; If I am a member of the majority and we decide that we want your possessions, is it, in your mind, okay for us to take those possessions? The majority will always vote themselves the fruits of the minority.

Far too many people on these websites have no historical knowledge to reference before they make socialist comments. I am not going to attempt to educate because many are too far down the socialism path.

        • ajareins

Youre arrogance is exceeded only by your presumptuous attitude You have no idea what i meant. So instead of inquiring you presume you know better. Read the comment i answered and the story and maybe you can figure it out. After all you do think your so intelligent

    • AHP1081

      William Earl Ellis
You comment reeks of liberalism. May I ask; to what point must we work together to win? If my beliefs are based on the scriptures, am I required to displace those beliefs to win? If my beliefs are based on the Constitution of the United States, am I required to displace the Constitution to win? If that be the case, then I guess I will be a loser in your eyes. Cruz has demonstrated that he has values he will not compromise. Trump, the “Art of the Deal” maker has proven he has no values which he will not compromise.

I AM FOR CRUZ HE IS MY MAN
