North_Korea_Hydrogen_BombU.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Monday asked the body’s Security Council to impose the strongest possible sanctions against North Korea in response to the rogue nation’s most recent nuclear test, saying “the time for half measures … is over.”

Haley spoke at U.N. headquarters in New York a day after North Korea claimed to have conducted an underground test on a hydrogen bomb.

It was the country’s sixth such test, following five previous ones on a nuclear warhead and recent launches of inter-continental missiles to land such weapons on foreign soil.

The United States is calling for a U.N. vote on sanctions as early as next week.

This is a wayward child, allowed to threaten and raise a tantrum and get what he wants and now he is armed and backed with others, now Iran saying shoot why not test some missiles. The wild and woolly horses not only out of the barn but so far down the road they can’t be stopped, except with a destructive force.

Putin is right, more Sanctions are like putting the wayward, troubled and problematic child that is a threat to the entire family in the corner again. Doing the same thing over and over and thinking it will work definition of insanity.

Israel took out Hussein’s nuke site near Baghdad and Syria’s Chemical plants years ago. So what is wrong with years of advanced technology that we can’t eliminate the menace? Israel the size of New Jersey with the guts and the gumption that shames other countries including America if we don’t do something. Come on people of the world, you leaders get a grip and do something other than slap hands and talk.

Just because the North Koreans have a Hydrogen bomb, they think the rest of the world will bow to their wishes. That is the same mistake many dictators make against the world but discover too late it is the cause of their demise. If that little idiot uses even one missile or bomb on any country, It will be the end of North Korea into one big, black hole.

  • justinwachin says:

How many decades of sanctions have been placed on North Korea? At some point we need to realize sanctions really aren’t effective against that country. Brutal dictators only understand force. The time for talking is nearing an end. We need to take military actions to wipe out North Korea’s military capabilities.

The longer we wait to take action the more deadly this incident will be for all involved.

    1. Roy Fredrichsen says:

No amount of diplomacy will work with North Korea. In the Asian mind, diplomacy is a sign of weakness. All they understand is POWER. If North Korea drops so much as one bomb on any of our allies they will find out we were not afraid of them the hard way.

What the HELL good are “sanctions” going to do? This can has been kicked down the road for DECADES and the U.S. continued to attempt to “buy” this hermit kingdom’s “compliance” with money and food. (BRIBES) Didn’t work..the only one’s that got FAT, are the military and their “dictators”. The people are STILL starving, but are TOLD to comply or DIE. (that is why you see them all clapping like trained Chimpanzees when “ordered” to by fat boy.) How many missiles need to be fired before this INSANE FREAK is stopped?

As long as the President does not get goaded into making a first strike, nk will probably back off since even China and Russia appear to be not be backing them. The President just needs to make sure we can intercept anything nk sends our way.
