Trump dissolves voter fraud commission after states balk at data requests

President Trump announced late Wednesday that he had disbanded his controversial “election integrity” commission and blamed a refusal by more than a dozen states to provide what he called “basic information.”

“Rather than engage in endless legal battles at taxpayer expense, today President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order to dissolve the Commission, and he has asked the Department of Homeland Security to review its initial findings and determine next courses of action,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

The commission, led by Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, had asked all 50 states and the District of Columbia to hand over reams of personal voter data, including voters’ names, voting histories and party affiliations.

It is obvious since they are balking at a simple information request that there is something to hide. Voter fraud is very likely far more prevalent that the libs would like you to believe. If there were nothing to hide there would be no issue with providing the information.

Why not assign it to the Department of Justice? Start enforcing reasonable internal control! Prosecute fraud against INDIVIDUALS instead of suing states, arrest any official or judge that obstructs justice or aids fraud in any way

Proof of citizenship is an obligation of the person wanting to vote or receive citizen benefits. Require photo ID. It’s relatively cheap & easy to create and run data matching programs across geographic areas, ownership records, etc.!

Get some honest accountants in the GAO & drain that portion of the swamp immediately! We could probably eliminate deficit spending overnight if reasonable control & standards were reset today!

I guess the President doesn’t fear voter fraud anymore or maybe it’s just the fact he can’t put together a commission that works. Either way by by election commission. Since they only meet twice it’s no big loss.

“no big loss” would be if you went away. You’re still a dumb ass democrat that thinks he’s beyond reproach. You’re still an ass hole in 2018!

Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive. There is nothing wrong with being forward looking instead of trying to live in the past.

If I’m a Ass hole then you are a hemorrhoid. The ass is a very important part of your body, a hemorrhoid is just a pain in the ass. Trumps fake commission did nothing only meet twice. It was a show pony. A total waste of time. Just like everything Trump does.

“It was a show pony. A total waste of time” The real dog and pony show that is a waste of time is the Russian investigations. Millions spent and no evidence of collusion, except on the part of the Democrats, Clinton and her minions.

And it’s good that you admit you are an ass hole. You are just an opening to spew forth waste products that smells bad. Acceptance is the first step in bettering yourself. And you know what they say about ass holes: Every one has one and they all stink but yours.

Four indictments and Bannon is saying there will be more. If anyone knows it’s Steve Bannon. Trumps house of cards is about to fall.

Many illegals and citizens are voting twice and Whites are being discouraged and turned away. This is injustice and it is preventing Republicans from being elected.
