For the last month, Sen. Elizabeth Warren has tried to put the flap over her disputed claims of Cherokee ancestry behind her by embracing tribal causes, but apparently it’s not working.

Calls are rising in Massachusetts for her to take a DNA test in order to resolve once and for all, whether she’s really a Native American as questions surrounding her lineage continue to dog her Senate reelection campaign.

The Berkshire Eagle, a Massachusetts newspaper that endorsed her in 2012, called Tuesday on Ms. Warren to “screw up her courage and take the spit test,” saying that a positive test “would permanently resolve the issue—while possibly shutting down President Trump.”

Even if the test shows no Cherokee ancestry, “it would be an opportunity for the senator to perform an act rarely seen among politicians: an admission of her error and a full-throated apology to Native American tribes and anyone else offended by her spurious claim,” said the editorial.

“By facing the truth and taking responsibility for it, she would disarm her enemies and show potential voters that she was human and capable of mistakes, just like them,” the newspaper said.

She was on the Sunday shows on both Fox and NBC this week end. On both, she was asked if she would submit to a DNA test. In both cases, she talked all around the issue but never gave a definitive answer. This is the SAME woman who DEMANDED that the President be tested for mental illness because the Democrats and the media (redundant) were pushing a tabloid phycology report from a “Doctor” who was sanctioned by the APA for making and publishing a diagnosis with out ever examining the patient

Could it be found out that she is really a he?

That would just make her more of a hero to the left

  • Joel Frank says:

The wacky progressive liberals believe that a man who says he is a woman should be considered a woman by society, so using their illogic, why not allow a white woman who says she is an Indian be considered a Native American? Hee Hee, Wakan Tanka Kici Un

There is a difference between a mistake and a flat out lie. Warren’s case is the latter.

  • Gary Smith says:

    Warren is a lying POS

  • Janis says:

Why not take the test Liz? You were “so sure” of your native american ancestry when you put it on a job application in order to proclaim minority priority status. Put up and shut up about your “high cheekbones” once and for all.

  • itsfun says:

No way will she take such a test.

  • Maxx says:

Warren will refuse to take a DNA test for one reason; she is lying about her ancestry. High cheek bones? Ridiculous! And I would discount any results if she turns to Louise Gates Jr. to have the testing done. He and his TV program have come under much scrutiny. He only works with “celebrities” and what a surprise, they all somehow tend to have some of the most historically amazing genealogy stories. Makes good TV but what is the probability of such coincidence.

Exactly…Now days if you know where to go, make the right connections, and have the money to pay for whatever it is you are seeking…You can find it…whether its a University degree or a deed to some far off Pacific island…Anything can be had for a price.

As a child she had curly hair so she must black. She can’t drive, so she must be Asian. Any other stereotypes she wishes to fill? Oh yeah, she a lying cheat, playing on race and sex to get her way, so she must be a Democrat from Hawaii via Chicago, Arkansas and New York.
