Fourteen presidential hopefuls have qualified to be on the presidential preference primary ballot in Florida’s March 15, 2016 primary.
The Democrats previously listed three candidates who qualified for the presidential primary in Florida, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of New York, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
The Republican list, submitted today to the Florida Secretary of State by Republican Party of Florida Chairman Blaise Ingoglia, includes just about everybody, including Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who suspended his campaign two weeks ago, effectively — but not officially — withdrawing.
