ACLU representing bombing suspect Ahmad Rahami

TRENTON, N.J. — The American Civil Liberties Union on Monday began representing a man accused of setting off bombs in New York and New Jersey and injuring more than 30 people.

After judges in both states denied attempts by public defenders to represent Ahmed Khan Rahami, a lawyer for the organization’s New Jersey chapter entered a notice of appearance in his case in federal court in Newark on Monday.

Rahami has been hospitalized since he was caught following a shootout with police in Linden last week. He has not made an initial court appearance.

Prosecutors said in a filing last week that he had been incapacitated and intubated since undergoing surgery for his wounds. A spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office did not have an updated condition available on Monday.

to bad the police officer was a bad shot. Now we have to pay for the defense of this terrorist pork lover.

This is why we cannot have trials for terrorist in American courts, they will be represented by antiAmericans like the commie aclu or some other American hating outfit..

That’s the ACLU. Generally on the wrong side of every argument. The scum representing the scum.

Again the Gov. funded terrorist group ACLU to the rescue of a muslim thug! Save the money and put him to sleep, because this is soon to be an every day thing with the made up refugees coming in!

Note to police for future terrorist apprehension: Shoot to kill. Save the taxpayers a fortune.

Rhamani is ill. Proceedings must be stayed until he can stand trial. For that a lawyer is not needed. The appearance of his relatives and tell the judge is sufficient. He is not indigent. His family has resources, his wife traveled to the Emirates the day after his alleged crime. He traveled several times in past years to Afghanistan and did not work. If at the end he cannot pay a lawyer, a public defender must be appointed. But an ACLU lawyer? Many years ago I ask ACLU of Michigan to represent me in a case which I am winning in proper on constitutional grounds because it alleged that it only does constitutional cases. What a disgrace for ACLU. I took away my yearly contributions to ACLU and hope others do the same. Saudi Arabia probably will fund ACLU.

He’s not ill, he was on the drug they take before they blow themselves up or commit mass murder! I’ve read this in Time magazine the different drugs they do! This is a typical muslim, their cult is for total control !!

Just remember Hillary is too.for total control.

I agree with a previous commentator; when it comes to a terrorist shot to kill. As for as the ACLU is concerned they are a bunch of nincompoops that hate this country and would love to see it fall; not surprised they would defend a bomber.
