N.C. Gov Pat McCrory signs into law bill restricting LGBT protections

The N.C. General Assembly on Wednesday approved a bill that invalidates Charlotte’s new legal protections for LGBT individuals, doing far more than striking down a controversial provision that allowed transgender people to use the bathroom of the gender with which they identify. Gov. Pat McCrory signed it into law hours later.

The vote in the House was 84-25 after three hours of debate, with all Republicans voting for it and 11 Democrats breaking ranks with their party to support the bill.

In the Senate, the vote was 32-0 after the Democrats walked out in protest, saying they had not been allowed to participate in the process.

“We witnessed an affront to democracy,” said Democratic Sen. Dan Blue of Raleigh, the minority leader. “We will not be silent.”

    Thank you,

The democrats have never been silent. They yell loud and clear that they want to fundamentally transform America into a immoral and perverted cesspool.

Now if we could just get the rest of the states to come to their senses.

Good for North Carolina! LGBT do not deserve more rights than other people in this country.

I’m sure the leftists will come out in force against the N.C. Governor and legislators. Isn’t it interesting that leftists / progressives are all for gays until obtaining complete power. At that point gays become one of the first groups labelled as parasites and eaters and marched off to the gulags and gas chambers. Gays fare better under the strictest theocratic regimes than they do under socialism / communism.

North Carolina apparently has more brains than what is now coming to be known as “normal” government in the USA. LGBTQs are just being obnoxious and trying to gain attention for their unnatural cause; most likely they’re some part of the PC Marxist group that are trying very hard to remove any moral, religious, character, or common sense from the country. Most legal US citizens don’t think the way they do, and don’t intend to change anytime soon. If we wanted to have genitalia on parade, we would run around nude and leave nothing to the imagination.

If you desire to see where this type of behavior leads, feel free to watch “The Brave New World,” starring Leonard Nimoy, or read the book by Aldous Huxley; both are very good and reasonably priced through Amazon. Just be aware that a true homosexual, by choice or some other warped philosophy, won’t breed the natural way, male and female, so unless we continue to allow them to recruit from the ranks of our children, they will eventually die out and rectify the problem. Thanks, NC, you’ve got your head on straight! Stand Your Ground!

      AMEN, Brother Abel.

Great vote, glad to hear of it. No group of people should get extra special legal protections beyond what the rest of us have. As a tax payer I am sick and tired of catering to their madness.

I agree, there is nothing good about this lgbt group of people, they are perverted humans trying to force their sick and twisted lives on others.

Thank you and I totally agree with you.
