OK-commandments-e1436310743679There’s a showdown at the OK capitol.

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has vowed that a Ten Commandments monument on capitol grounds, which the state Supreme Court recently ruled was unconstitutional, will remain through appeal, KOCO reports.

“The Ten Commandments monument was built to recognize and honor the historical significance of the Commandments in our state’s and nation’s systems of laws,” Fallin says in a statement.

  • God Bless you, Gov Fallin! That is why I voted for you, to do what is Right in the Eyes of God! Of course, the Leftists do not know our God or Jesus, since they deliberately kicked GOD to the Curb, TWICE, in 2012, voting HIM out of the Platform (foundation) of their Party! Where there is a lack of Jesus, Satan reigns, and he reigns within the godless Democratic Party today, as can easily be seen from their policies and perversions!

The only thing that is unconstitutional about the Ten Commandments is DISOBEDIENCE. Since when have murder, theft, adultery, lying and covetousness been constitutional? They are injurious to someone and teaching people not to, is to inform consciences, and provide the basic criteria for justice within the legal system. If government wants to foster a tolerance for all those things proscribed by the Ten Commandments, they may as well use the nuclear arsenal.
To obey is better than sacrifice!

I like this OK governor it should stay up. I’m tired of the few getting their way over what the many truly want. I hope Mary Fallin sticks to her guns and doesn’t remove it at all.

Good for her! Someone with courage and integrity. Hey, maybe if some of the muslims would abide by the Ten Commandments, there wouldn’t be do much dissention.

Go, GOVERNOR…..the 10 Commandments are (1) Historical and (2) provides the framework for a RESPECTFUL and CIVILIZED Society!!

And Just what will the OK Supreme Court do to the governor for her defiance? I have a suggestion for them: Illustrate your displeasure by quitting; that’ll show the Governor who’s boss! Bad ole governor!

      Brilliant idea!

There is nothing wrong with the Ten Commandments, but everything good, that’s why some idiots want it removed. It could keep someone from a life of misery or crime.

The state constitution is very clear and the judges findings are 100% in line with it. If OK wants the ten commandment in front ot their court house they can change their constitution. The SCOTUS has already ruled on this in favor of the monument in Texas.

Good for this governor. Take a stand. Speak up. Who the hell said it should come down, some judges in black suits. It seems to me that these judges are no different than the KKK was to the blacks. Doesn’t everyone know that judges are just flunkies that couldn’t get a job as an attorney.
