Clemson University apologizes for serving Mexican food

Clemson Dining’s “Maximum Mexican” night, has become a student favorite over the last several years, and this year was no different, at first.

Everything was going great. Students were loving the food and festivities. Except for two students, who took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with the school’s decision to host such a “#CUlturallyInsensitive” event.

While a few on Twitter were offended, the overwhelming preponderance of students registered absolutely no reaction at all. The one student who did respond to the Twitter complaints wrote, “I’m offended that you’re offended. #CUfiestafiasco.”

That’s really rich, in IRONY. I needed a good laugh!!!! U. S. CITIZEN students can NOT wear any patriotic clothing (in some schools) especially on MAY 5TH, to avoid “OFFENDING” mexican ILLEGAL alien students, for fear of VIOLENCE!!

Now the mexican(?) students are offended by the serving of mexican FOOD, on a college campus?!?! Are they “offended” by the serving of traditional “AMERICAN” foods on an AMERICAN (U. S.) campus??

I would find this situation a LOT more SATISFYING if the complaints came from U. S. CITIZEN students!

After all, we LEGAL U. S. CITIZENS are NOT supposed to be offended by ANYTHING that ILLEGALS do while living ILLEGALLY in OUR country. But THEY are offended by the LAWS that have been in force, and our TRADITIONAL ways of life, for decades or even CENTURIES!!!!

There is no constitutional right to not be offended. If you don’t like Mexican food, don’t eat it. There is probably a McDonald’s nearby.

Lily, Lily, Lily, don’t you remember, if you don’t like mexican food, YOU ARE BEING HATEFUL?!?!

Sheesh, Lily, GET WITH THE PROGRAM(ming)!!

      (sarcasm now off.)
