Gov. Dayton Declares Affordable Care Act ‘No Longer Affordable’

ObamacareMINNEAPOLIS – Gov. Mark Dayton made a stunning admission on Wednesday about rising health insurance costs and the future of MNsure.

“Ultimately I’m not trying to pass the buck here but the reality is the Affordable Care Act is no longer affordable,” Dayton said.

Dayton says changes to the program are critical, as he stepped away from one of his signature political platforms.

“The Affordable Care Act has many good features to it, it has achieved great success in terms of insuring more people, 20 million people across the country and providing access for people who have pre-existing conditions alike, but it’s got some serious blemishes right now and serious deficiencies,” Dayton said.

Premiums for 250,000 Minnesotans, or 5 percent of the population, insured under MNsure will skyrocket by 50 percent or more on some health plans.

Here is the law.. Hillary cannot be signed into the office of president..

For those of us who do not have United States Code[1] committed to memory, here’s exactly what it says:

“(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

      (b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.”
      (Source: 18 U.S. Code § 2071 – Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally)

Read this and read it well !

They fail to mention that this was a Dem. that has finally admitted that this unaffordable careless act is no good but it was really never meant to work anyway, but to just help hurt the real American people and to also run up our debt with millions and millions just wasted! It’ll be now like they wanted from the start, a gov.run system!!

The problem with the Affordable Care Act was that it was based more on wishful thinking than cold, hard reality. Those of us who already had health insurance already knew that health insurance costs rose annually. Insurance premiums rise because the cost of health care is rising. This is a classic demonstration of how out of touch with reality politicians can be.

If the politicians wants health care to be affordable they need to deal with the reasons health care costs are rising. Insurance isn’t the reason. A great starting place for controlling health care costs would be to provide the person who is getting the coverage with a financial incentive to be a good health-care consumer. As long as someone else is paying much of the bill there isn’t going to be much of an incentive to spend wisely.

Fixing it is simple. Just add a few trillion to the debt. Bankrupt America from the bottom, the middle, and ‘selected’ top. All parts of Obama’s master plan to destroy the last imperial power, the USA
