Pro-Trump demonstrators fear Cleveland ‘inviting bloodbath’ at RNC convention

Cleveland’s security plans for the Republican National Convention include the deployment of more than 3,000 police officers, but security experts and those expecting to attend fear that a compact space for demonstrations combined with turbulent crowds may be a recipe for explosive clashes.

One of the key complaints by groups who support and oppose presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is the limited space demonstrators will be allowed to occupy during the convention, which runs from July 18 through July 21 and is estimated to bring 50,000 visitors to Cleveland.

Two parks will serve as demonstration areas, but demonstrators alternately will share a single parade route and a “speaker’s platform” with amplified sound that individuals can reserve for 30-minute increments — placing opposing groups in close proximity during focal points of their rallies.

“They’re inviting a bloodbath with the way they are setting it up,” said Ralph King, the local organizer heading up plans for a Citizens for Trump demonstration. “Instead of separating and just giving the permits out to where people wanted to have different marches and parades, now you have a fishbowl.”

Why would the GOP chose a crap hole like Cincinnati for their convention?

I used to like John Kasich, but that changed when the debates started. I used to be a supporter of Jeb Bush, but that , also, changed. I was, originally, for Ben Carson because he was telling things like they REALLY are…not just what people want to hear, but how things really are in Washington. I am still for Carson, but a majority of the people weren’t. I don’t believe that the “majority” is always right, but , in this case, it is. For some reason, the “majority” of they people are for Trump and there has to be a good reason for that. Those who are o longer in the race SHOULD be standing behind Mr. Trump because he is whom the “majority” has chosen. The big problem is that there is so much corruption in Washington and all of these politicians who refuse to back Trump are part of this problem because they are part and parcel of the bigger problem in Washington. That is the very reason that I no longer agree with them and others like them. Trump wants to “clean house” starting in Washington and I am behind him 100% because of that very fact! I am only allowed to vote for candidates who are on the ballots in Arkansas…but if I could, I would vote against EVERYONE who , currently, is part of the “Washington” matter if they were Democrat or Republican. They all need to go and we need to start fresh.! .That isn’t going to happen, but it SHOULD.

Ironic, isn’t it, that the tolerant lefties who demand the right to be heard refuse to allow this to any and all who dare to have a differing opinion? And they just can’t protest; NO, they have to turn to violence and then try to get money out of the local governments to pay for their medical bills and “suffering” for injuries cause by their own actions. What a country we live in.

Just what is the point of these useless demonstrations. They accomplish nothing except show peoples ignorance. These idiots should be belted on the rear with a two x4 and re-arranged their brain cells back into their head. These crowds should be broken up and dispersed by the police.Instead Mr. sand Ms.goody two shoes say they have rights and can show their ignorant’s.

One more thing: Governor Kasich, get over your pride fir losing. Are you for the American people and the well being of the country or is your ego too big? I don’t think anybody has to tell you that, not supporting the only Republican candidate, is a de facto Support fir Hillary. Is that what you stand for in your Party?

Block the convention center area off a mile away from it and have the national guard support the 3000 police officers. The latter should then put everyone doing more than silent protests in handcuffs and haul them off to jail. If there is a legal problem, make a special rule for the Convention that allows police to do what they are supposed to do, protect the people from thugs.

Considering what’s taken place around the country & with Democrats in power in that city, it’s hard to believe that law enforcement will be allowed to enforce the law effectively or be given the resources to do so. Those peace officers will probably just be there for show.

Might as well get use to blood baths, if Hellary gets the house it will be an everyday thing!

These anti-Trump demonstrations will probably improve his popularity. They will give Donald Trump the chance to show that he will be a tough leader. Unlike our current president who is a man of many words which no one takes seriously, Donald Trump will show that he will be a leader that people take seriously.

I am a hard-working American. I’m tired of seeing these professional troublemakers roaming around our country creating chaos. Over the past seven years these people have been able to sponge off the taxpayers thanks to the efforts of the Obama administration to reward non-productivity and laziness. The legacy of President Obama will be the huge debt that our nation has run up during his time in office. Taking these freeloading protestors off the public dole will be one good way for President Trump to begin turning things around.

Gov, Kasich’s “attitude” won’t help it be an orderly convention. The police better respond forcefully if things get out of hand. Right then – on the spot – of any sign of extreme behavior…

Kasich was on the news this morning, and he said that he would NOT endorse Trump under any circumstances, sounds like he’s pushing for Hellary too! Must save the SYSTEM!

He apparently is another sorehead looser like Romney.

There would be no violent demonstrations if the 3000 peace officers enforced the law. I emphasized the enforcement because the only thing these thugs recognize is FORCE. A few thumped skulls early in the encounter will do a great deal to prevent further violence.
The protesters have to be shown that peaceful protesting in designated areas not disrupting the procedures will be tolerated but violence will be met with violence+
