NEW YORK (AP) — Ted Cruz’s attempt to upset native son Donald Trump in the Empire State primary has so far turned on three words: “New York values.”

Cruz’s use of that phrase as a putdown in a GOP debate in January has hung around his neck like an anchor, particularly in New York City, where’s he’s been skewered in the tabloids and repeatedly heckled at campaign events.

But Cruz is forging forward in his quest to pick up delegates, insisting that he wasn’t criticizing the state as a whole, only the policies often synonymous with New York.

“They are the values of the liberal Democratic politicians like Andrew Cuomo, like Anthony Weiner, like Elliot Spitzer, like Charlie Rangel – all of whom Donald Trump has supported,” Cruz said during a campaign stop in the Bronx. “If you want to know what liberal democratic values are, follow Donald Trump’s checkbook.”

I do not understand why people thing the values of one area should be held over another. Even within parties there are different principals in different areas of the country. Be proud of your local culture and stop trying to judge how others feel. We are all going to loose if we don’t let go of the “me me me” attitude and start worrying about all of US.

Ted, keep talking, your just digging your hole deeper and deeper. Don’t bring your Canadian values to the USA.

Cruz is such a snake. Now we will see him trying to slither out of this, he’s good at that. Bottom line is, We all know exactly what he meant. No talking himself out of it, no slithering. He should go back to Texas, New Yorker’s don’t need his type of Bull.or this type of man in the White House. We already have that!! HOW’S THAT WORKI’N FOR US ??

Go to the middle of Times Square, and shout it out. If you have the courage. They will be “fishin'” for you, in the East River.

Did you ever notice the similarity between the resume of Cruz and the current Pretender in Chief? Harvard grad – lawyer – Professional Politician – no real World work experience – no people or negotiating skills – arrogant and a loner. Do we need another one? Most interesting is that both are Establishment Puppet.
