White House chief economic advisor Gary Cohn has resigned from President Donald Trump’s administration.

The former Goldman Sachs president and free trade advocate Cohn, whose departure date will come in a few weeks, decided to quit after Trump announced he would impose stiff tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

In a prepared statement, Cohn said, “It has been an honor to serve my country and enact pro-growth economic policies to benefit the American people, in particular the passage of historic tax reform.”

“I am grateful to the President for giving me this opportunity and wish him and the Administration great success in the future,” Cohn said.

TRUMP IS BOSS, LIKE IT OR LUMP IT, COHN WAS JUST AN EMPLOYEE, IF HE HAD WANTED HIS WAY, HE SHOULD HAVE RUN FOR PRESIDENT. ANYTIME AN EMPLOYEE BUCKS HEAD WITH THE BOSS, THEY USUALLY LOSE. REGARDLESS OF WHAT A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK THAT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MANAGMENT AND NO PAST PRESIDENT HAD THE EXPERIENCE THAT TRUMP HAS. HE IS RUNNING THE GOVERNMENT LIKE A BUSINESS AND HE SHOULD. SO GET USED TO IT.

No REAL loss here just considering where he came from. Goldman Sacs is one of the largest criminal organization allowed to operate in America by D.C. It’s the same place Obama recruited some real scumbags for his cabinet. Good riddance. Trump needs to get rid of any and all people that were recommended to him by the GOP or DNC.

“enact pro-growth economic policies to benefit the American people”? What is this lying crook talking about? For almost 40 years, the U.S. government has allowed, promoted and often financially rewarded American manufacturing companies to close their plants and ” export” good paying American jobs to low wage countries.

Yes, we can buy cheap imports, but at what cost? They never told anyone that millions of people would then have to work for companies like Amazon for $12-$15 an hour! Mr. Cohn should try to maintain his household on that kind of wages!

All those public servants who voted for these lousy and destructive policies should have been thrown in prison for treason!
