Sen. Tim Scott: Harry Reid should apologize for remarks on race

Republican Sen. Tim Scott wants Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to apologize for saying in a Friday radio interview that he hopes GOP-led opposition to President Obama is “based on substance and not the fact that he’s African-American.”

Mr. Scott, a conservative from South Carolina, is the only black member of the Senate. He issued a statement on Friday that accused Mr. Reid, Nevada Democrat, of dividing Americans by “playing to the lowest common denominator.”

He said Republican opposition to Mr. Obama is based on what they view to be failed policies.

  • EXCUSE ME…IF I MAY HAVE A WORD…HONESTLY…he OWES USA MUCH MORE THAN AN APOLOGY…BUT IF HE COULD JUST LEAVE THE COUNTRY WE WOULD LET him…because he is old…ya know????
While I have never in my life been politically correct(PLEASE God!)….I have found very few in politics that I could LIKE! But do continue to give them what for, TIM! 😉

That’s MY Senator (Tim Scott)! He’s been an excellent replacement for Jim DeMint!! I’ll definitely NOT lay claim to the other one, though (RINO Graham). Anyone that wants him can have him.

If Reid can not keep track of 100 Senators 1/3 of which at max change every two years, what can the senile old crook keep track of?
