The budget that the Trump administration will roll out Tuesday does much more than balance in 10 years and boost military spending; it forces a major change in the way Washington looks at the spending by putting the focus on taxpayers instead payees.

President Trump’s team went through the budget line by line with a simple question: Would taxpayers want their money spent on this?

Turns out that plenty of times the answer was “No.”

The result was $3.6 trillion in cuts over 10 years — the most ever proposed by a U.S. president — to reach balance in 2027 without touching Medicare or Social Security retirement benefits, as Mr. Trump promised.

Still, cuts to education, social welfare and other programs while increasing defense spending by $54 billion raised eyebrows on Capitol Hill.

These recommendations to the Budget is a little light, they should be gutting those duplicated programs, and dead beat personal. These are NOT CUTS, from the programs, they are A REDUCTIONS OF THE TAX PAYERS FUNDS, GOING INTO THESE PROGRAMS. The programs budget will increase …. but not as much as previous budgets have asked for, by TAX and SPEND Presidents before President Trump.
THANK GOD FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP, HIS IS DOING THE WORK OF THE PEOPLE, NOT THE CRONIES IN WASHINGTON D.C.!

Hey, we have nothing to worry about. Chump assured the entire Country, everyone will have Health Care – EVERYONE! “And it will be cheaper than ever before.” That will be full coverage, right? Or will it be just a voucher from Paul Ryan for us to wipe our butt with. I’m betting on the Butt Wipe from the Flim Flam man, Ryan!! Any takers out there!!!

Let’s hope the RINO’s get some courage. Remember Republicans are the party of smaller government. Let’s get people back to work, but eliminating the huge increases in assistance of all types in the Obama years.

In reading the full article I see where “MY WONDERFUL PRESIDENT” is also leaving many state issues in the hands of the states where those mandates belong. God bless President Trump and God bless America!

seems like voting for Mr. Donald Trump has turned out to be one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made. Now if the idiot RINOS would only wise up and get behind our President I would finally, after eight years of misery, have hope for a glorious America again!!!

It is about time the FEDERAL government does the job the founders meant it to do. We do not need a nanny federal government but a protective government. The military is the one place the federal government should do a good job. Leave the day to day lives alone and let them be productive. Protect us from evil within our country and from outside of our country.
