A United passenger whose first-class seat on a recent flight from Houston to D.C. was given to Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is firing back at the Democratic congresswoman’s accusations of racism – while challenging the airline’s account of the incident.

Jean-Marie Simon, an attorney and private school teacher, became the latest face of airline passenger woes when she detailed on Facebook and later to the news media how she lost her seat to the Texas lawmaker.

But despite a statement from United seeking to explain the switch-out, she’s not giving up the fight. And the congresswoman’s response – essentially claiming Simon made a scene because Jackson Lee, as an African-American woman, is an “easy target” – did not calm the waters.

Simon, in an interview with Fox News, rejected the racism allegation.

After hearing the accounts of past problem with this Congresswoman on the airlines, perhaps it is time to put her on the “No Fly List”.

You know, liberals scream racism so often that it is now pretty much meaningless. In fact, if they are shrieking racism it is very likely a sign that they have no real case and are trying to cover something up. Apparently black people can do no wrong and can make no mistakes or have bad ideas because if you disagree with them or call them on something it is automatically just “racism.”

If United wanted to show the original “flight cancellation receipt” they would have already done it. They know where the problem lies and it is with United cooperating with Jackson-Lee who seems to have a previous history of pulling this kind of thing, based on the comment from another Texas congressional party member. I’m glad to say that I have never used UNITED and now I never will, either.

Shelia Jackson Lee sees things in 2 colors: Black and anti-Black. Every time she is questioned about her actions, it’s racism. Ms. Simon did not mention race, just that the airline gave away a seat she reserved and paid for. Ms. Simon’s problem was with the airline, not this racist Democratic Congress person. Since Rep. Lee has to go straight to race, maybe she should be vilified for being anti-educator, as Ms. Simon is a teacher. My bet is one of two thing really happened: The airline decided to suck up to a Congress person and bump Ms. Simon from her eat to placate Lee, or (more likely) Lee demanded the seat and pulled the “I’m in Congress” or the race card to force the airline to knuckle under to her demands.

You are correct. She is one of the biggest racist in DC. I’m wondering if the airline had experience with her and wanted to avoid confrontation. (Or it could have been a BLM person at the airport that figured the white lady didn’t deserve to be there)
