Obama’s new ozone standard has greens seeing red

The Obama administration handed a win to industry groups Thursday on a fiercely debated rule for smog-causing ozone pollution — leaving green groups feeling betrayed once again and threatening legal action.

The new EPA standard is stricter than one the George W. Bush administration had set in 2008, but it’s far laxer than what environmental and public health groups consider necessary to lessen illnesses like childhood asthma.

Thursday’s action came four years after the White House abruptly squelched an earlier EPA attempt to tighten the ozone rule, a move that greens still regard as one of the great betrayals of Obama’s presidency.

The “greenie” environ-mental whackos need to get a real life and quit trying to destroy the Earth. The global climate debate is NOT over. There’s not much anyone can do about the Suns solar variable and the Earths molten core that “leaks” in the forms of volcanoes, lava floes and geothermal zones.

Yeah, my favorite one was when they had that series of PSAs showing people covering their mouths and holding their breath when a car drove past them. The ads were touting the EVILS of carbon-DIOXIDE.
They were eventually pulled. Most likely someone finally got it through their thick heads that cars give off carbon-MONOXIDE and it is, in fact PEOPLE who expel CO2 AND without CO2, there would be NO PLANT LIFE!
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.
