Trump aide: VP list is ‘very small’

Donald Trump has narrowed his potential running mates to a “very small” list, his top aide said Sunday.

In an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski — who is leading the vice-presidential search process — said the vetting team has “started to shrink down that pool.”

“I can say that the list is very small and we have a very good understanding of who those handful of individuals will be and ultimately the decision will be made by Mr. Trump,” Lewandowski said.

He said the final decision will be up to Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, but aides are now identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each option.

This will be a very important decision for Donald Trump. If he makes a great pick the election may be his. His choice will show us a lot about the decision making skills and values he will take to the Oval Office.

NEWT GINGRICH SAID THAT HE WOULD NOT SAY NO IF HE WAS ASKED TO BE OUR VP PICK THAT HE WOULD SERVE TRUMP FOR AMERICA

Newt Gingrich hasn’t said no, He hasn’t said anything at all and that’s a good sign! I really hope Trump picks Newt. He knows the in’s and out’s of congress better than anyone, he is not part of the establishment, but he knows Washington real well and he’s a staunch Republican who is 100% backing Trump. A ticket with the two of them would be unbeatable. Trump will put his agenda into play and Newt will let him know how to do it.

The reason it is small is that most everyone he approached has said “No way”.
Only politicians whose careers are over (for what ever reason) know that if they say yes, their careers would be over.
