Trump vs. Jorge Ramos on Birthright Citizenship, Wall, Deportation: “We’re Going To Start With The Gangs”

by  |  published on August 26, 2015

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos took on Donald Trump at a press conference held by the Republican presidential candidate in Dubuque, Iowa on Tuesday evening. The two went head to head for five minutes over birthright citizenship, how Trump would build a wall, how he would deport illegal immigrants and more. Trump fought back against Ramos and attempted to get him to acknowledge crime committed by illegal immigrants.

Earlier, Ramos was ejected from the presser for stepping out of turn.

Trump vs. Ramos on birthright citizenship

DONALD TRUMP: Well, a lot of people think — no, no, excuse me. a lot of people, no, no, but a lot of people think that’s not right, that an act of congress can do it.

Trump has got it right on illegal immigration. I like everything I have heard so far on the subject. I personally might be even tougher but he is excellent. Start with the wall. I would get as many contractors as needed in order to get the wall up in 3-4 weeks, each contractor would be responsible for a certain length of wall until they all met. Send the bill to Mexico and if they refuse to pay it then cut off ALL imports from the country until the bill is paid in full. Also cut off ALL aid to the country. Once the wall is built you can then do some effective deportation. The Constitution is for the people of America who are legal NOT illegal therefore as they get caught ship them out, bill Mexico, within 24 hours because they have no right to a trial. Stop 100% of any federal funding to any state that has sanctuary cities unless the state cuts all funding to the city. Any crime committed by an illegal in a sanctuary city automatically makes the mayor and chief of police tried for accessory to that crime. The list goes on but I think I made my point clear. This will also make it much more difficult for terrorists to enter the country even though obama is pro terrorist.

they also need to put an electric fence on top of the wall too.

When I was in Vietnam we had a good system. We had 2 rows of concertina wire about 15 feet apart with anti personal mines randomly placed between the two fences. Behind that was armed folks on guard duty. It worked. We were never penetrated while I was there. The question isn’t can we do it the question is are we willing to do it. Is it more important to let Mexico call the shots or is it more important to protect America?

The democrats are upset that they will be losing millions of illegal voters

And that’s what this whole thing with illegal immigrants is all about – VOTES. If Mexicans and other immigrants voted Republican, then the right wouldn’t be screaming for the wall. If Unions voted Republican, do you think Scott Walker would have taken down the unions in Wisconsin? Not a chance. It’s all about votes. Which equals, of course, MONEY.
