John McCain

Many people have disproved F. Scott Fitzgerald’s axiom that there are no second acts in American lives. But Sen. John McCain proved there can be third and even fourth acts.

Mr. McCain, a veteran of the Vietnam War with more than 35 years in Washington, two presidential campaigns and countless personal and political revivals, died Saturday after a yearlong bout with brain cancer, leaving a legislative legacy unmatched by any other Republican of his generation.

“John McCain is one American who will never be forgotten,” said Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey. “He was a giant. An icon. An American hero.”

Mr. McCain’s family announced Friday morning that he was ending his cancer treatments, saying “the progress of disease and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict.”

As a member of the house I have been told that John McCain was a good representative for Arizona. When he got into the Senate, he became more important than the people he represented. He was a pompous vindictive man. He worried more about the illegal immigrants than the people in Arizona who wanted the invasion stopped. He became a typical bleeding heart democrat who knew better than anyone else what was good for the country. It’s a wonder that he didn’t switch parties after the last election.

That is “putting it mildly”, after his irresponsible actions aboard the Forestall, his shenanigans killing numerous of his shipmates and the pilot behind him, with his banned “Wet Start” prank. Killed 20 some sailors, and put the Forestall in dry dock for months!

Then, his actions as a POW, killing a number of other POWs and leaving numerous to rot in VM, when he pushed to cut short, the the rescue of these poor guys!

Best I can say about this POS, is “Traitor”!

He may have been a war veteran, but that is all. He was never great in the political field and did NOT serve the people well, who elected him
