Trump wins presidency, defeats Clinton in historic election upset: 274 – 218

November 9, 2016

President TrumpDonald Trump, defying the pundits and polls to the end, was projected to defeat Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s presidential election and claim an establishment-stunning victory that exposes the depth of voter dissatisfaction – and signals immense changes ahead for American policy at home and abroad.

Seventeen months after the billionaire tycoon’s Trump Tower entrance into the race, the first-time candidate once dismissed by the political elite will become the 45th president, Fox News projects.

Speaking to cheering supporters early Wednesday morning at his victory party in New York City, the Republican candidate and now president-elect said Clinton called to congratulate him, and Fox News confirms she has conceded. Despite their hard-fought campaign, Trump praised Clinton for her service and said “it is time for us to come together as one united people.”

Irate over educated white female anti-Trump rioters in LA, Portland, Seattle and at Yale in New Haven, CT., all with massive student debt, are standing quietly in line at Starbucks, asking nicely if they can steal coffee for their protest marches.

Oddly, they all refused to take the new Starbucks “Snowflake” coffee cups. …Something? that Ben Shapiro said?

It is gonna get ugly. They forgot stain remover!

We, the American people, spoke on election day. All the politicians would do well to grasp the message of the day. Donald Trump was our only chance for reversing the problems of corruption, incompetence and lawlessness which has plagued our nation. Mr. Trump is not perfect but he has the potential to rise to the level of greatness which Ronald Reagan holds.

I was happy to see the NBC election night anchors mention that this vote was partially a response to dissatisfaction with the media. They got that right. For the past eight years the mainstream media has functioned as the propaganda machine for the Obama administration and the Hillary Clinton campaign. (That is likely to change. The media doesn’t usually function as shills for Republicans.) It was kind of fun watching NBC’s liberal election anchor team trying desperately to find some path to victory for Hillary as the vote totals came in. When they got down to the community level in Pennsylvania and Michigan their pathetic efforts signaled that they realized the same thing I did-Donald Trump was going to be the next president.

  • Bob says:

Hillary has now replaced the 2004 Yankees and their collapse in the ALCS against the Red Sox as my favorite monumental collapse. The Media, the political machines, the pundits and comics all had her replacing the carpets in the WH since May. The ONLY poll that counts is on Election Day. May God Bless and help the new Administration.

God ALWAYS answers our prayers but not always in the way we want Him to. We must learn to accept God’s Grace to get us through what this world throws at us and He will show the way. In this case God showed the people the way and his people listened more so than in the past for the result that we were all praying for.

Through massive voter turnout, the political elite was defeated by their own game of playing the electoral college instead of working to actually get the trust of the people. Their total disregard for the people came back to bite them in a major way.

Now it is time to get to work and right this ship we call The United States of America and do it with a fervor that will insure that God continues to bless this great country.

I know this campaign has been a long hard battle for all of us who worked to make this outcome possible but this is no time to rest on our laurels because the battle before us is going to be every bit as hard as the battle now behind us. The good thing is the sense of relief and renewal we now feel going into this new battle.

Thanks again and may God continue to bless The United States of America!

Hillary and Obama certainly got the country to come together. That it was against them was just a happy coincidence. Now we have racist a-holes like Van Jones asking what to tell his children and calling it a “white-lash” of the country. If he had any, he would be ashamed.

Several times I had posted my concerns about the age of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. After watching President Trump in action all I can say is I hope I have that much energy when I reach 70. This man may change how we look at the senior years.

That’s funny. I don’t see the usual liberal trolls and Clinton minions spewing their venom at us. Oh well, we all need to sit down now and work together. No more divisiveness. Trump won the electoral vote but not the popular vote. So here is the big question can Trump be the president for the half that didn’t vote for him? We have a very divided nation right now and if we don’t find common ground we are at the end of our time as a democracy. The Democrats have enough votes in the senate to shut things down just like the republicans did for Obama. Can Trump and his followers remember that we are a country of not one race but many and not one mindset but many. Can the nation come together as one country? Isn’t it ironic that the institution that the republicans wanted to get ride of has put them in the white house.

    1. Linda says:

Just be happy that your freedom has been restored, and we will certainly be able to rest alot easier at night.

      1. bobnstuff says:

What freedom? Free press, Trump want to cut back on that, go to a British type. Freedom from illegal search, Trump supports stop and frisk. Freedom of religion as long as you are a Christian. What freedoms are you talking about?

        1. Donaldo says:

All religions are welcome In this country except the one religion that will not tolerate all the rest.

          1. bobnstuff says:

You mean conservative Christians are not welcome here?

            2 Chronicles 15:12-13

And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

          2. Brad says:

I have heard this all before. It’s so old. Another airheaded talking point with no actual logical thought behind it. You liberals always quote the old testament bible verses where the Hebrew God says to put people to death. Most of those scriptures were referring to the ancient Israelites against other tribes, but that qualifier is always conveniently left out. The quaran has many of the same. Big difference between them and us is that they actually do these killings NOW in the name of their religion, while the Christians don’t. Christianity underwent a reformation, meanwhile the muslims did not and are still clinging to their barbaric practices. You will not go into ONE Christian church anywhere and find a pastor advocating the killing of another person because they don’t believe in the Christian faith.

          3. bobnstuff says:

You seem to believe that all Christians believe the same thing. How many times on this sight have you heard that Muslims must die? Even Trump said that we should kill not just the fighter but his family also. You say that the difference is that they are killing and we are not, I wish that was true. The history of the Christian is full of killing in the name of Christian faith. My Great Great Grandfather 7 generations back burned people at the stake. If you go to the KKK’s webpage you will see that they believe themselves to be a Christian organization.

Remember that much of the Quran is taken from the Bible. Most Muslims believe that the Quran teaches peace and there are rules in the Quran dealing with non believers and they even cut non Muslims some slack because they are not enlightened. A believe must pay 10% tax but non believers only have to pay 5%.

Just like there are a number of Christian Churches There are a number of different Muslim sects. Most are based on respect for everyone and just as in the Christian faith you must care for everyone regardless of their beliefs. If you took the time to study Islam you would know this. Most peoples knowledge of Islam is based on what they have learned from Fox News and other right leaning media and they get there “facts” from non Muslims who have an agenda of creating hate for the Muslim world. You can twist almost any religion into a religion of hate if you want.

I’m not a Muslim but there are times when they they make Christians look selfish and uncaring. And to answer your question there are Churches that will justify killing infidels.

Wouldn’t it be great if Christians prayed five times a day.

          4. Brad says:

Correct that. Part of the quran is taken from part of the bible, more specifically the first few chapters (Torah). One of these books is Deuteronomy, which I am actually in the process of reviewing at this point, deals with the Israelites taking over an ungodly tribe to take back their land years after their release from Egypt. Again, we are speaking of ancient history. You can’t (honestly) translate that to say that we are to slaughter unbelievers in this day, in either the muslim, or Christian faiths.
I can’t speak for others on this forum who call for the death of muslims, which is ridiculous unless they are talking about radical muslims who are directly threatening them. You know very well that they aren’t talking about the peaceful people who practice the islamic faith. However, when you have a group of approximately 1.6 billion muslims wordwide, 7-10% of whom are estimated to be radicalized, it gives you 112 million to 160 million radical muslims who espouse the downfall of the western civilization and killing of infidels. It is very reasonable to guard yourself against a population that incredibly large that wants the downfall of your society.
Regarding your grandfather, I don’t know what his beliefs and motives were, but even if he was Christian, it is not modern day practice of Christians to do such things and is ridiculous to even compare. Even if you refer to the crusades, they were in response to the death and destruction of muslim conquerors. The church had no choice but to stop them. Those radical muslims were savage murderers, rapists, destroyed the Library of Alexandria, and needed to to be stopped, just like they need to be stopped today. And don’t take us back to medieval times when addressing anything Christians did. The muslims are doing this TODAY. Christians are not. And, oh, by the way, the kkk were democrats. Just thought I’d throw that in there.

          5. bobnstuff says:

Grand Dad was a puritan minister.

The KKK supported Trump so I guess they might have changed with the rest of the Democrats from the south.

Mary, mother of God is in the Quran more times then in the Bible. Jesus is a profit in Islam, not the son of God but still a profit.

ISIS is not based on Islam and in fact it’s the Muslims that are doing the fighting and dying in the war against them.

It’s those verses from Deuteronomy in the Quran that people say make killing non believers alright for Muslims but in fact they view those verses about the same way as Christians do.

          6. Brad says:

No, the kkk supported hillary. They gave her $20k a few months back, though it is possible they gave to both sides. Who the hell knows. Who cares who the grand lizard and the other idiots give their money too.

Isis is nothing but a bunch of mercs funded by countries/supporters of hillary. That’s why we’ve never destroyed them. Wikileaks affirmed that. That still doesn’t account for the estimated 112 -160 million of radicals who we need to keep a close eye on.

There again, in Deuteronomy, what was done in ancient times, does not apply to modern times. Unfortunately, the modern islamic radicals are still going by this today, for some twisted reason. Yep, puritans were pretty hard core, but c’mon, fess up here. Your great grandpap didn’t roast anyone on a stake. Now your just trying to bullshit me even more than usual. Thanksgiving at your house must be a total blast.

          7. Brad says:

Bob, why did you post me that link? The washington pustule, about as usesless as the clinton news network (cnn). Why didn’t they do a write up about Hillary calling young black men “superpredators”, and calling her cooking staff “n*****s”. No, they don’t mention the bitch saying that stuff. Did you read what the article said? He denounced the kkk and said it’s publication was repulsive.

          8. bobnstuff says:

If don’t like that link pick one they all say the same thing. The Klan loves Trump. They are taking credit for his election, Ask David Duke. It makes no difference if Trump denounces them, they love him. It took him a few day’s to denounce them, after all his Daddy was a member.

          9. Brad says:

Duke’s an idiot, claiming he’s the reason Trump won. Give me a break. Only you would believe that garbage. Aren’t you supposed to be some sort of alleged industry leader, quoted in wsj? I thought people like you were supposed to be intelligent. I don’t identify with duke, and neither do most everyone else who supports Trump. We’re working people fed up with the shit being dealt to us by the bushes, clintons, and other various and sundry scum bags in dc. Furthermore, these are unproven allegations, but you won’t read that in the worthless liberal rags. I had to dig deeper to find out what the actual story was, and found it to be crafted for the sole purpose of smearing Trump. I heard an extensive interview with Larry Nichols just last night, who helped orchestrate getting the clintons in office, in Arkansas and dc, and described the loathesome strategies that were employed. They are f’d up people to the core. That’s what the filthy clintons do. It’s what they have always done. They ruin people. They discredit, pay off, threaten, and even kill some of those who oppose them. Even IF Don’s old man spent his saturday evenings cutting eye-holes in pillow cases, what in the hell does that have to do with Donald himself? Come to think of it, was it not you who advocated the practices of margaret sanger, that dead whore, who was all for aborting unborn babies of the poor, the blacks, and the minority race immigrants? Ah yes, it WAS you. In that sense, I’d say it is YOU who identifies with the kkk, and not Don Trump. Think about it, the kkk wants to kill adult minorities, and you want to kill unborn minorities. At least they don’t want to kill people because they are born to a poor family, like you do. I’ll give’m that.

          10. bobnstuff says:

Trump won because he did a better job at getting his base to the polls. 27% of the registered voters voted for him and 27% of the registered voters voted for Clinton. The difference is Trump convinced the blue collar workers he was their best choice. He got more states. The KKK was not the reason he won but they voted for him and they have used him to recruit new members. I have said over and over that I was not happy with my choices. Trump has destroyed many people and many small businesses with his way of doing business. If you want to talk about pay offs look at the court records of all the people Trump has paid off. The election is over and Trump is my president, like it or not. I hope that he can change and grow enough to fill that office. Here’s the thing, you have been feed a steady diet of miss information and you choose to believe it. You seem to think that pro choice is pro abortion and that the pro life group cares anything about life, they are pro birth but once out of the womb they are on their own. Here a interesting fact, abortion rates go down with family planning and education. You close Planned Parenthood you increase the rate of abortion not reduce it. Abortion rates have been dropping over the last 10 years not going up. The only way to end abortions is to take away the causes of them. I will give Trump a chance to show his colors. What I will never do though is let lies go unchallenged.

        2. Linda says:

You just answered your questions. Yes, freedom of religion because Christians are the ones that have been put down over the last 8 years, with muslims getting in power and that’s not America. We are a Christian nation from the time our founding fathers came to this land. Read the Constitution. Our society is alot safer with stop and frisk; all you have to do is look at the statistics in New York City and Chicago. It’s a mess since Obama came in. Msny are still dying on the streets because he has tied our police’ hands. Shameful. Freedom to continue the second amendment where we can have a gun to protect ourselves when ISIS comes in to hurt you and your family. It’s already happening since Obama is letting in 5,000 a week known as Syrian refugees that we cannot vet. Now we will have freedom to get our insurance without government interference and penalty. I could keep going with the freedoms that were restored after the election last night, but I would be writing all day. Obama had an agenda to destroy America and he almost succeeded. This is the reason people woke up and finally took their country back. This is a great day.

          1. bobnstuff says:

We are not and have never been a Christian nation but as a Christian you have the right to believe as you wish but you can not under the First Amendment force your religion on others.

Next just where did you get the idea that Muslims are getting power in our country. Do you have a clue just how few Muslims there are in this country and that no were is Islam being pushed by our government. Less then .7% of our country follow Islam so just how much power do they have and just how afraid of them should we be? Now if you try the old lie that Obama being Muslim you can’t complain about his minister and about him not being a Christian, pick one or the other. As far as him being a Muslim, he went to first grade in a Muslim school then the next three years going to a Catholic school. I don’t think they taught him much about Islam at St. Thomas School.

I bet you would scream if someone tried to pass any gun laws but you are will to give up your fourth amendment rights to make the country safer, why is that. Did you know that the crime rate in this country is lower now then 8 years ago? Is making our police obey the law tying their hands?

Of all those refugees how many have committed acts of terrorism? Also what would Christ say about helping those people? As Christians are we not called to help those in need no matter who they are? One minute you want a Christian nation but one that doesn’t do Christian things.

As far as to the mandate under the ACA to have insurance, the idea was first created by republicans and put into the law. Since the largest cause of personal bankruptcy before the law was medical bills and it ended up that the cost of those uninsured was being passed onto the people with insurance and those who paid there bills. Do you like the idea that you are paying so others can go without insurance and get out of their bills. If you don’t want to have a mandate then give the hospitals the right to turn away the uninsured and only sever those who can pay. After all we should be the only major industrial nation that doesn’t believe that healthcare is a right.

My guess is you have a very short memory about what was going on before Obama and you rights. Do you remember warrantless wire tapes?

    2. NJ Lady says:

I can’t imagine Hillary winning the popular vote! Anyway, this country dodged a bullet last night. Our new Commander-in-Chief has brains, patriotism, and a lovely wife and son.

      1. bobnstuff says:

Clinton did win the popular vote and half the voters shared her view of the country enough to vote for her. As I asked, Can those views also be represented by Trump.

        1. Brad says:

No, they defrauded the popular vote. This is so much in plain sight, it makes me want to scream. They kept the margin very
close to make it appear to reflect the closeness of the latest polls.
What first made me suspicious is that the polls were over-sampled(this is verified btw) to the
democrat’s side, and the margin of errors didn’t add up against the
actual people polled. So, we know the number of people supporting Trump
was most likely much higher, but the general population, who very likely
listened to msm and more specifically probably just the 6 and 10
o’clock news reports, wasn’t made of aware of it, in the media’s attempt to
gaslight the public. It makes sense (to me) that a very close popular
vote would effectively deter any argument from the republicans if she
had won. They tip-toed the numbers game as carefully as possible
to avoid conflict. I was never a fan of the electoral college, but I am
so glad to see that it threw a spanner in the clinton soros gearbox.
Maybe it will continue to be necessary as long as we maintain the threat
          of voter fraud.

Can Obama pardon Hillary even if she isn’t charged with any crime before he leaves office????

    1. used_to_be_a_liberal says:

      I think not.
Can the President pardon people who haven’t been charged?

Jacob Leibenluft, in his article in Slate, has missed an important point. To understand the pardon power, we need to examine just what is happening when an executive with pardon power grants a pardon. What he is saying, essentially, is “I won’t enforce a sentence against x for y, and I bind my successors not to do so as well.”

Where the question gets interesting is when we ask if he can grant a pardon for a conviction that has not yet occurred, or prevent a trial from being held. From my historical research, and despite Ex parte Garland, I find the answer to both is no. A pardon has to specify a sentence as well as the defendant, and that can’t be known before conviction. Granting a pardon to someone for anything he might be convicted of, in advance of such conviction, is in conflict with the constitutional prohibition against granting titles of nobility, and exempting someone from prosecution for anything at all is making that person a noble, even if it comes only with a title of “he who is above the law”. Leaving aside the obvious likelihood that the Court in Ex parte Garland was corrupt, this point was not argued before the Court and therefore the precedent does not cover it.

Even if we ignore the problem of conflict with the title of nobility prohibition, it cannot be logically inferred from the pardon power that a pardon can prevent prosecution. The president may refuse to carry out a sentence but he has no power to prevent a charge from being filed, an indictment obtained, and the court from trying the accused. The court might be reluctant to do so if the sentence won’t be imposed, but a trial serves many purposes besides executable conviction, one of the most important of which is to bring out the truth, and it may be important to proceed with trial even if the conviction won’t be executed.

There is also an issue of whether a president can bind his successors not to enforce a conviction. That is an implied power of a monarch, but not of a president. My finding is that the pardon power of the president is not the power to bind his successors.

      1. itsfun says:

Thank you very much. That is what I thought. I could not understand how he could pardon someone not charged with a crime. It is obvious you have done a lot of research on this topic and I thank you again.

We must look for solutions to our problems as a nation without loosing sight that corruption is one of our biggest problem.Trump will betray us if he pardon Hillary, Bill and Chelsea. One way is to start is pardoning Assange and Snowden and other whistle blowers already in prison and initiate the process to make stronger public disclosure laws. The first week he must sit down with Putin and his generals and his own generals –without the participation of the Gulf States– to have a concrete plan to finish ISIS by February 28, 2017. .

I do not know why you came up with the Saudi and arms issues, but now that you mention the CIA keep in mind that Lincoln, Roosevelt and Kennedy were assassinated for not falling in line with the security agencies controlled by the British Empire, the masters of the Saudis. Trump must deal with the crimes of Obama and Obama’s pardon of Hillary for crimes that she even has not been charged in order to send Obama and the Clintons to prison. He must negotiate with the CIA and his vice president –the actual director of the CIA– the pardon of Snowden and Assange and then start to create a new culture at the FBI and the CIA that respect the constitution filling them with Irish and other anti British groups
and educate them with the true history behind the Civil War. And more important, Trump needs to watch his back to avoid being killed by cancer or suicide.

With Bill from Arkansas she has ran a criminal enterprise that has no limits and for this reason she and Obama opposed JASTA. Just take my word or do the research and readings that lead me to my conclusions: if they are friends of Jeffrey Epstein and frequent visitors in Lolita Express to Orgy Island they are Illuminatis

The DOJ and FBI are sitting on all that financial data.

          3. Edgardo L. Perez-De Leon says:

There were very powerful forces that kept the Clintons and the Rose Law Firm in Arkansas from not been indicted for their 100 M USD a month cocaine traffic business. Bill was AG and then Governor and Hillary a lawyer at the Rose Law Firm. They were above the law but the point was not taken: do not trust anything she has said.Depends on to whom she talks the message on the same issuecouldbe different. If the DOJ and the FBI are sitting on that financial data let us see what Judicial Watch has to tell us.

Arms Airlift to Syria Rebels Expands, With Aid From C.I.A.

With help from the C.I.A., Arab governments and Turkey have sharply increased their military aid to Syria’s opposition fighters in recent months, expanding a secret airlift of arms and equipment for the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad, according to air traffic data, interviews with officials in several countries and the accounts of rebel commanders.

The airlift, which began on a small scale in early 2012 and continued intermittently through last fall, expanded into a steady and much heavier flow late last year, the data shows. It has grown to include more than 160 military cargo flights by Jordanian, Saudi and Qatari military-style cargo planes landing at Esenboga Airport near Ankara, and, to a lesser degree, at other Turkish and Jordanian airports.

You Do Realize that the U.S. Funded and Trained ISIS, Right?

It came out back in 2012 that the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were jointly running a US CIA and Special Forces command training base for Syrian rebels out of the Jordanian town of Safawi, but apparently according the Jordanian officials, that training ‘wasn’t meant to be used in Iraq’ (via WND):

Syrian rebels who would later join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.

The officials said dozens of future ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq.

          1. Edgardo L. Perez-De Leon says:

Thank you for the information but realize that the Syrian question started in 2009 well before the Arab Spring and is related to the transfer of oil from the Middle East to Europe via Turkey, as well as reduce the dependence of Europe on Russian gas.We can add the Soros factor which is Illuminati, designed to destabilize areas in the world to some how start a nuclear WW III and cause the depopulation agenda of the One Global Government of the New World Order. Syria, where Russia has vital interests is good target for provocation, as is Ukraine, but not Libya. The CIA and the British Empire with Wall Street play as many cards as possible. They do not care if anti Assad rebel kill themselves as far the victor set Assad –and the Russian– as its last target. Check on the Activist Post and Freedom Letter to get real journalism, which is not propaganda. Hilary loose but not the British Empire and Wall Street, which are viewing how to infiltrate the Trump’s administration beyond the CIA. This is a mix of conspiracies theories but all get back to the defeat of John Quincy Adams by Andrew Jackson and the assassination of Alexander Hamilton and eventually to the Civil War and the assassination of Lincoln.
