Cancel Donald Trump state visit, says Sadiq Khan, after London attack tweets

June 6, 2017

The London mayor, Sadiq Khan, has called on the British government to cancel a planned state visit by Donald Trump after being criticised in two tweets by the US president.

Trump initially criticised Khan for his response to the London Bridge terrorist attack; though, in doing so, he misquoted London’s mayor. Khan’s office pointed out Trump’s error later but the president responded by accusing London’s mayor of making a “pathetic excuse”.

Appearing on Channel 4 News on Monday evening, Khan said Trump was wrong about “many things” and that his state visit should not go ahead.

“I don’t think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for,” he said.

I read all the remarks in the comment section of the Guardian and it makes me want to puck! I am so tired of these brainwashed idiots mouthing about our President! He speaks the truth and doesn’t butter cover anything he feels that is wrong.. I am glad we have a man that isn’t afraid of these pussy footing democrats that are being brainwashed in the schools and colleges and the likes of Hillary Clinton and Obama. These people need to read the Koran. This is their agenda. Kill, all infidels and Christians. They don’t care about life because they think they will be surrounded by virgins upon death.. I have news for them, Hell is awaiting everyone that does these horrible acts.
How anyone can become so corrupt is beyond my thinking.. I love this country. I am so disgusted with all this chaos toward our president. This man loves this country and he, with our help and support can make her great again. I hope he does a house cleaning and deport every one that get in his way.. Why would our country open it’s borders to allow unknown thugs and killers that actually hate us, to come in unvetted and hand them the tax payers dollars to support them.. These people hate us. Obama knows this for he really hates American ways and wants us to forget what our Forefather did to make this a great country…… Stand tall for Donald Trump people. He’s right on in his agenda…………

Threats of ISIS are everywhere in Europe…Open Boarders.
The Terrorist attacks will never stop until there is a Ban on Muslims. Understanding some of the attacks are from 2nd generation Muslims but a Long term ban would stop even that situation!
Protecting Americans should be paramount…From Terrorist Attacks!

We don’t need them, they need us. Charles of Wales said Islam can teach us all something. Look at the terror attacks. Who learned a lesson?

Great Brittan has been one of our closest allies over the years but once again our new president is trying to fix that. This isn’t the first time Trump has insulted them. It’s one thing for the President not to be politically correct but he needs to learn to be more diplomatic. We are on the same side in the fight against terrorism but I’m not sure Trump understands that.

The ‘problem’ with Pres. Trump is that he is not as erudite with his rhetoric as Winston Churchill. The ‘problem’ with Britain is that they have, on several occasions, ignored Sir Winston, until it became crisis. That they even contemplated a moslem as the mayor of London would have Sir Winston turning over in his grave.

Trump has a problem with actions with out thinking things through. Someone needs to take his smart phone from him. No world leader is go take a Tweet seriously, the system was never designed to be a serious form of communication. All Trump’s tweets are doing is making our country look like fools for electing him.

Communicating with ‘snowflakes’ and ‘liberals’ is like communicating with the proverbial mule. You have to hit them on the head before they will listen. And be very, very, direct.

If the British feel they can do this alone, the way they have been doing it, go ahead. We are trying to offer an alternative method of preventing the problems London has been experiencing and if you want to tell us to go home, hey, your not hurting my feelings. We can offer you food but if you slap our hands we will stop offering. When you are under attack and want us back you will need to do more than just ask. We will stand back and let you hurt a while longer until we make sure we are not verbally attacked for helping the way we see fit. You should pray that God will help you start to think straight and see the big picture. Your liberal ways will be your down fall. The Muslim people have been training to fight since the day they were born and this is not going to change unless you extinguish them. Pushing them out of your country is just pushing them into another country to have to deal with them. Quit acting like you are French and be British for a change….
