More than 40 people killed in Russian strikes in Raqqa

November 8, 2015

The Russian warplanes launched a new wave of airstrikes on the northeastern Syrian city of Raqqa, killing at least 42 people, including militants of the Islamic State (ISIS), local activists reported on Friday.

At least 27 civilians and 15 ISIS militants were killed in Russian raids that targeted the city of Raqqa.

Speaking to ARA News in Raqqa, media activist Saleh Raqqawi said that the Russian warplanes have destroyed several centers for the radical group and bombed an old bridge on the Euphrates River, beside hitting public institutions in the city.

“The airstrikes have destroyed a part of the National Hospital, at-Talaa Camp and residential buildings near the Kids Park,” Raqqawi added.

Outstanding! Keep it up, Vladimir! Show the little gay Kenyan Tea Boy, Hussein, what true Leadership is all about!

    1. I Seigel says:

Yeah, Vladimir, bomb those hospitals, pulverize those apartment buildings, kill those civilians. Show ’em who’s boss!

      1. billwhit1357 says:

Only ones left are the Enemy, all the others are flooding Europe! Guess your don’t like Putin showing your queer idol, Hussein, for the cowardly wimp that he is, huh? Seem to have forgotten about the hospital Hussein Obama gave permission to bomb in Iraq, huh? What delicate forgetful toys Leftist’s brains are.

        1. I Seigel says:

So if the only ones left are the enemy, Vlad should be able to simply target every moving thing, carpet bomb the place and wipe them out by Friday, right? Simple as pie.

And now, today, we read that ISIS is announcing plans to conduct attacks in Russia “very soon”. We’ll see if Vlad’s strategy backfires onto his own people.

A hospital that Obama “gave permission” to bomb?? Are you chewing on those coca leaves AGAIN?!?!? You really should switch back to the glue-sniffing. You were so much mellower then. Sure, you fried a bunch of your brain cells, but you still have enough left to make oatmeal for yourself and use your TV remote.

          1. billwhit1357 says:

Now, asswipe, what leftist idiocy were you vomiting up? Apparently, you must only watch MSLSD, the news for retards like yourself.

But the hospital, run by Médecins Sans Frontières, was the sole target of this bombing raid, by a US plane that returned repeatedly to the scene, dropping more ordnance on a building from which staff and patients were trying to escape. Curiously, on this occasion, Nato did not use that other great euphemism of modern warfare, the “surgical strike” – though it would, for once, have been appropriate.

          2. I Seigel says:

And what makes you think Obama gave the nod to drop the bombs? Did the Secretary of Defense get involved? The JCS? It sounds from all the news reports that this was the regional commander’s call. Are you so stupid to think EVERY military decision in Iraq or Syria has to be vetted and approved by the White House, or Obama personally?

          3. billwhit1357 says:

Have you ever served in the military? Apparently not! There is a something called a Chain of Command. Obama is the CIC, who gives the command and those under him have to follow whatever rules or command he gives them. Obama is the Commander in Chief and no matter how you and other Leftist want to change the facts, it all falls on his shoulders! If there is a field commander not following his orders, then he should be removed. Obama has given the orders and nothing you can say or do can change that! Like grandma used to say, “Wish in one hand and shit in the other, see which one fills the quickest”!

          4. I Seigel says:

Oh, so you’re saying that Obama gave the command to bomb the hospital, and everyone under him just followed that order? You’re not THAT naïve, are you? How simplistic a world you live in.
So, Reagan should DEFINITELY have been jailed for trading arms with the Contras and with Iran?
And Bush was guilty as hell for the abuses at Abu Ghraib, and for the killings of those Iraqis, and when those dead American soldiers were hanging over the river? All his fault? Where were the calls for his impeachment?
Cmon Nitwit, fair is fair right? Where’s your righteous indignation when the other guy’s in charge?

          5. billwhit1357 says:

You say your a conservative, but of what? Certainly not an American Conservative, you suck Obama’s balls to much for that.

          6. I Seigel says:

I don’t recall ever claiming to be a conservative. If I gave you that impression, I apologize.

But you didn’t really answer my question. If you want to hold the CIC responsible for EVERY action taken by EVERY soldier and officer ANYWHERE in the world, in battle or not, then you have some heavy blaming to do – on BOTH sides.

As you would if you held every CEO responsible for every misdeed of their employees, managers or directors.

          7. billwhit1357 says:

Obama is the CIC, he is the top of the Chain of Command and the Buck is supposed to stop with him. But, of course, he doesn’t want the responsibility of what his ROE’s and policies cause, which makes him one pathetic excuse of a CIC. All other Presidents took responsibility for the actions under their commands and changed things so that it wouldn’t happen again. But Hussein just refuses to acknowledge his responsibility in the actions of those under him.
