Terrorists Force Egyptian Church To Close For First Time In 1600 Years

August 21, 2013

The situation in Egypt continues to worsen and it is Christians in particular who have frequently found themselves between the cross-hairs. This past Sunday, for the first time in 1,600 years, a church in Minya, Egypt was forced to cancel Mass.

This came after terrorist supporters of ousted President Morsi destroyed their monastery which included three churches and an archeological site. Graffiti with threats were left on the walls of the church and parishioners left fleeing.

The plight of Christian Egyptians at the hands of terrorists is sickening and all eyes are on Washington to see how President Obama reacts.
