Immigration move roils Nevada

November 24, 2014

President Obama’s executive actions on immigration threw gasoline on the fire of border politics — and nowhere is it burning hotter than in Nevada, where incoming Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is gearing up for a tough reelection.

Obama chose the Silver State, which has proportionately more illegal immigrants than anywhere else in the country, to begin a tour aimed at winning support for his decision to stop deportations for as many as 5 million people.

His first shout-out in a Friday speech at a heavily Hispanic Las Vegas high school went to Reid, who has been emphasizing his support for immigration reform in general and the president’s decision in particular, while at the same time eying a potential challenge from popular Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval (R).

I wonder how much all this bs is going to cost taxpayers. Jobs are already hard to find. I would never purchase anything it I knew they were using illegals to manufacture anything. If I walk in a store and I felt it was an illegal working there I would walk out.

I agree with you 100%. And I want that POS Reid gone so bad it hurts.

After reading the news today I think we need more than just Reid out of there. How about cleaning house and starting new. We have nothing but a bunch of greedy idiots with no guts and all. Both dems and repub. They all lie as much as Obama does.

Not all of them but you are SO right most of them need to be replaced- starting with with Boehner. If that scumbag even said his name I wouldn’t believe him. Just briefly I know of two I would hold on to for sure and that’s Jeff Sessions of course and Senator John Boozman from my proud state of Arkansas. I was THRILLED to see our state was added to the list filing the lawsuit- that made my day. Things we have to also consider- yes very obvious I know, is any new ones coming in to replace what we’ve got, how do we know we can trust them? We wouldn’t. The majority of them are gutless backstabbing hypocrites that no way can be trusted. And my God how pathetic is that? How were they such “scoundrels”- and why? I don’t understand why they were such hypocrites AT ALL. I mean, what did they or are they getting out of it? Especially that hypocrite Boehner. Lol and speaking of hypocrites, I am SO happy Mark Pryor lost, Tom Cotton I would instantly add to the list with Boozman and Sessions.

I hope what we see in January is different than what we are seeing now. Aren’t we all tired of all these lies?
