Jeb Bush doubles down on Common Core, risking conservative ire

November 21, 2014

Even before the 2016 presidential campaign truly begins, division lines between Jeb Bush and his potential foes in the Republican primary already have been drawn.

The former Florida governor signaled in a Washington speech Thursday that he is prepared to fight the base in his own party over the increasingly unpopular Common Core education standards, arguing that they are vital to improving the quality of education and, by extension, improving children’s chances to succeed in today’s economy.

I’ve had enough of the Bush clan, the Clinton, clan, the Kennedy clan, if that’s all Americas has to offer the peasant’s, I will fold camp and find another party to support, It is bad enough with the Kenyan in the white house, but! it is even worse to have to select another Bush, or worst of all Hillary(what does it matter Benghazi) Clinton.
Unless Boehner and McConnell get into gear, we will stay stuck with the house full of ball less leadership we have now, and our beloved America will implode.
“If we always do, what we have always done, we will always get what we have always got”…….anon.

I put Jeb Bush in the same category as McConnell and Bohner all hat
and nothing under it. They talk a good game until you look at their
record and voting on issues. I have voted for the GOP candidate
and many time had to hold my nose to do so. I am sick and tired of
the loose lip moderates who fall on the left side more than on the
conservative side of issues. We have been thrown under the bus
by the GOP because the want a “Go along to get along” moderate
rather than a honest Conservative who loves America. The actions
by the GOP over the next two years leading up to the 2016 elections
will decide if they survive as a party are fall by the wayside as
outdated cowards and useless individuals. The GOP has some
members who stand up and are not afraid to speak out, but they
have responded to the Conservative and TEA party Conservative
    with honor and honesty.
