Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenas Mike Flynn in Russia investigation

May 11, 2017

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday subpoenaed former national security adviser Mike Flynn for documents in its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

A statement from Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., said the committee first requested the documents on April 28, but Flynn declined to cooperate. So now the committee is not asking.

Flynn was forced to resign as President Trump’s national security adviser after revelations about how contact he had had with Russian officials was both far more extensive and more troublesome than had initially been thought by the White House.

Vice President Mike Pence defended Flynn only to learn that what he had said was not accurate.

They must be being paid by the hour. These people bring embarrassment to themselves and we the people. Either there is evidence or not. This is not a supposed to be a fishing expedition manufacturing propaganda to prove their charges. Trey Gowdy being considered for FBI director based on his integrity and the fact he has never lost a case, is a brilliant idea. Hope that comes to be, soon. Restore faith in American judicial system that people with questionable character thes likes of Loretta Lynch Sally Yates Susan Rice and Jim Comey have robbed us of. HILLARY must be shaking at this point. Obama, too. That which has been hidden will be brought to the light.
