After Trump scolding, Senate to try again on ObamaCare repeal and replace

July 20, 2017

President Donald TrumpSenate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is restarting ObamaCare repeal and replace negotiations following a White House meeting between a scolding President Trump and the Senate GOP conference.

“Next week we’ll be voting on the motion to proceed, and I have every expectation that we’ll be able to get on the bill,” McConnell told reporters after the lunch with Trump.

It was not immediately clear which bill McConnell wanted to move to — a straight repeal of ObamaCare or the Senate’s ObamaCare repeal-and-replace legislation, which had seemed dead days ago.

But as the afternoon waned on, it seemed increasingly clear that McConnell’s hope is to get back to a new and improved Senate bill.

This must get done. Republicans voted several time to repeal when they knew repeal had no chance. Now that they can, they are showing how big a group of liars they are. They got elected to do this. They promised to do this. They don’t have the courage to do what they promised and why they got elected. What kind of people are we putting in charge? They lie to us and don’t do what the people that put them in office want them to do. We the people need to help President Trump drain the swamp.

Mitch, you have a tough job but you can’t give up. You need to take the names of the GOP legislators that don’t want to make this happen and work on getting them replaced. If we are not united we will fail. Keep putting their names out there and hang the failure around their necks. This will make the people back home remember them when elections come around. This cannot be made a GOP failure but those certain state leaders failure…..
